Mobile Order was introduced to Walt Disney World guests in May 2017. Launched within the My Disney Experience app, Mobile Order allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food at participating Counter Service restaurants around Disney World. Upon arrival to the restaurant, guests using Mobile Order can then bypass the ordering queue and go straight to a designated Pick Up Counter or Waiting Area to get their food.
Upon Mobile Order’s debut, guests were only able to pay using a credit card. Guests participating with the Disney Dining Plan were later added to be able to use meal and snack credits in their transaction. And as of May 2020, guests also have the option to pay with Apple Pay, a Disney Gift Card, or a Disney Rewards Card.
A majority of the participating Mobile Order restaurants now include allergy-friendly menu listings. More information is included in the Step-by-Step instructions below.

The Polite Pig offers online ordering; however, it is available via politepig.com, and not the My Disney Experience Mobile Order process.
Cookes of Dublin also offers online ordering; however, it is available via the Cookes of Dublin website and mobile app and not the My Disney Experience Mobile Order process.
Chicken Guy! offers online ordering; however, it is available via chickenguy.com, and not the My Disney Experience Mobile Order process; Guests may also simply scan the QR code on display when arriving at the restaurant.
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company in Disney Springs offers online ordering; however, it is available via Joffrey’s online, and not the My Disney Experience Mobile Order process.
WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN
Cabana Bar and Beach Club offers Mobile Ordering, though NOT via the My Disney Experience app. Guests may simply scan a QR code posted in the area to begin the process!
Mobile Order Table Service To Go
Select Table Service restaurants also offer Mobile Ordering with Table Service To Go; however, this feature is designed for takeout dining. You may find out more about this feature — and the Table Service restaurants which offer it — here.
Step-By-Step Instructions for Mobile Order
STEP 1: Open the My Disney Experience app on your device.
STEP 2: From the Home Screen of the app, you may expand options to select “Order Food.” (You will also see the Order Food option if you visit the individual restaurant page of a location offering Mobile Order.)
STEP 3: Select a restaurant from the list of participating locations. Note that an Arrival Time is suggested which you may select, or choose “More Times” to see additional half hour arrival time slots throughout the day.
We’re choosing D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs! If you did not select a specific Arrival Window on the previous page, you will be again directed to select one before starting to place your order. (Simply swipe to find additional time slot options.)
STEP 4: Once you choose a time, your next screen will automatically populate. Now you can check out the menu options and start to build your order!
You can choose individual categories by selecting the preferred icons, or simply scroll to see all the menu items.
Note that, where applicable, you may also find an Allergy-Friendly icon. (This particular screenshot is taken from Magic Kingom’s Pinocchio Village Haus.)
Upon selecting, you’ll see a list of Allergies that may be accommodated. These may include Gluten/Wheat, Egg, Fish/Shellfish, Milk, Peanut/Tree Nut, and Soy.
No matter the category, you may click on individual items to learn more about the dish you are interested in.
And if your option has choices involved (for instance, Kids’ Meals often offer choices from among a few sides and drinks), those choices will come up here for your selection. You will also likely find some suggested Sides to add.
Also, be sure to review any items for customization that may be applicable. For instance, our example dish at D-Luxe Burger presents the option to remove some of the included toppings like Bleu Cheese, Tomato, and more.
STEP 5: Select “Add” the item, if you wish, to add it to your order.
STEP 6: Upon adding all your desired items, you can review your order, which offers you the chance to make adjustments by deleting or changing the number of any items. (This option will populate once you have at least one item in your cart.)
Don’t worry… you’ll have one last chance to approve or add one more suggested item. 😉
STEP 7: Once you’re happy with your order, you can view your final Total and select your preferred payment option.
Note that you may have the option to choose “Dine In” or “Take Out” for plating or packaging purposes (though this option is not widely available).
Payment choices include credit card, Disney Gift Card, Disney Rewards Card, ApplePay, or using Disney Dining Plan credits for Counter Service meals or snacks. (You can learn more here.)
STEP 8: Once your payment information is entered, you may select Purchase.
STEP 9: When you arrive at the restaurant during your selected Arrival Window, simply open up your My Disney Experience app and touch the screen option that announces your arrival.
Your order will enter into preparation once you hit the “I’m Here” option upon your arrival at the restaurant.
STEP 10: Mobile Order will notify you when your order is ready!
In our example, though experiences may vary at specific restaurants, at D-Luxe Burger a Cast Member will also notify you when your order is ready (by calling your name) and will direct you inside the restaurant to receive your meal.
STEP 11: And from here…. ENJOY!!
