Ever since Disney World reopened last summer, Mobile Ordering at restaurants and bars has become a HUGE focus in the parks and at the resorts. It’s basically most guests’ only option to order fast food at most locations! But let’s just say the process hasn’t always been the smoothest… .
In exciting Mobile Order news, though, we discovered that a Disney World area resort is TOTALLY raising the bar on the process, and we’re crossing our fingers that other Disney restaurants take note!Â
With the MASSIVE shift towards Mobile Ordering at quick-service restaurants, cafes, and bars throughout Disney World, there have been some kinks to work through.Â
For instance, we’ve bet met with our fair share of unexpected lines, or the service has gone down altogether at random times! Â
So it’s GREAT to see that one spot has figured this whole Mobile Order thing out, and the location may surprise you!Â
The Cabana Bar and Beach Club at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin is offering Mobile Order for bar service via QR codes right from your pool chair! Genius!Â
Every single chair by the pool comes equipped with its own tag, so all you need to do is scan the code on your phone, bring up the menu, and place an order from the comfort of your sunny seat! Mobile Order that COMES TO YOU! Yesssss.
Naturally, being at the Swan & Dolphin, you pretty much HAVE to order the beer with the dolphin on it, right? OK, maybe only we thought so. 😂
All in all, the process was super fast and simple. Biggest points for not having to even stand up to get our order! Of course, this isn’t necessarily the most feasible in the parks. If guests are just waiting around at tables after ordering food, that means other guests can’t be eating at those tables. BUT, for a pool bar situation, this was pretty great. Cheers to Cabana Bar and Beach Club for mastering the art of Mobile Order!Â
