Visit Catalina Eddie’s if:
You need cheap Italian food, and you need it NOW. Pasta. Personal pizzas. Garlic bread. Yeah, Catalina Eddie’s has all of that. So if you miss your local Fazzoli’s back home, Catalina Eddie’s is here for you.
No thoughts, just food. If you’ve just gotten off a ride like Tower of Terror or Rock ‘n Roller Coaster, and your whole family is complaining about being hungry, Catalina Eddie’s is right there on the same Sunset Boulevard strip as both of those iconic rides.
You want to check to see if there’s a fun specialty dessert available. One of our favorite reasons to visit Catalina Eddie’s is to check and see what seasonal desserts or beverages might pop up here. Every now and then, we’ll find quite the gem hiding out on the menu!
Skip Catalina Eddie’s if:
You literally have the option to go anywhere else. Sorry if you’re a Catalina Eddie’s fan, but the DFB team really…. Isn’t. While it’s not bad food, it’s not really fantastic food either. Just very basic pastas and overly puffy pizzas. For picky eaters, that might be more than enough. But if you want to save your stomach space on something of higher caliber, keep on walking.
You want indoor seating. Eating heavy Italian food under the blazing Orlando sun isn’t really our idea of a good time — but that’s exactly what you’re going to do if you dine at Catalina Eddie’s, considering all the seating is strictly outdoors. (But, hey, to each their own!)
You want better theming. The best thing going for Catalina Eddie’s atmosphere is that you’ll be able to dine within view of Tower of Terror. But other than that? No characters, no charming pictures up on any walls, no over-the-top-color schemes.
