For many years, Epcot’s celebration of the season was known as Holidays Around the World. It was an annual Epcot tradition for years, and the offerings were expanded in 2016 with the addition of Holiday Kitchens.
Holiday celebrations the world over share something in common: a major aspect of the season is FOOD. The food booths — referred to as Holiday Kitchens for this event — operate much like the Marketplace Booths for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. You can find ALL of the Holiday Kitchens along with their complete menus here.
We even have a handy DFB Exclusive 2020 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Map so you can find ALL of the Holiday Kitchens! Be sure to click the image to enlarge and even print, if you’d like!

… as you complete the Cookie Stroll stop by Holiday Sweets and Treats to receive the Minnie Cookie!
UPDATE: The Candlelight Processional will not take place in 2020. We are keeping information from previous years below for your future planning reference.
Walt Disney World’s Epcot has always been a beloved destination for guests visiting during the Holiday Season. The Candlelight Processional is an endearing, traditional way to celebrate the Christmas Story.
A celebrity narrator shares the Christmas story accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and choir (composed of a Disney Cast Member choir along with an ever-changing group of guest choirs from around the country). Three performances take place each night at 5:00, 6:45, and 8:15 pm.
Candlelight Processional Dining Packages allow guests to pair breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a participating Epcot or Resort area restaurant and enjoy reserved seating for the popular production.
Visit our Candlelight Processional Page to see the list of this year’s celebrity narrators along with restaurants and prices for the Dining Packages.
The Festival of the Holidays offers guests a glimpse into how different cultures celebrate the holidays that take place during the Winter months.
In previous years, guests were invited to stop by each and every World Showcase Pavilion to hear Holiday Storytellers share the traditions that are integral parts of the season in the country they represent.
In 2020, presentations are working differently. Guests can enjoy the following entertainment around the park:
Voices of Liberty
You can find the outstanding a cappella group, Voices of Liberty, singing holiday music while dresses as Dickens Carolers at the America Gardens Theatre this year!
Mariachi Cobre will bring to life Las Posadas. This is a celebration of Mexican holiday customs through music and dance and takes place at the America Gardens Theatre.
Joyful: A Celebration of the Season
Head to World Showplace (located between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions in World Showcase) to catch a performance of Joyful: A Celebration of the Season!
This show features gospel mixed with jazz, R&B and more. Performances take place throughout the day — check the Times Guide for times and location.
And to wrap it all up, the high-energy percussion group, the JAMMitors, are performing on the Mill Stage in the Canada Pavilion.
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition is an all-new event for 2020!
Get ready for a festive seasonal Scavenger Hunt! Guests can go on a hunt around World Showcase looking for holiday traditions that Olaf has gathered — and lost — along the way.
In order to help our pal Olaf out, guests can purchase a Scavenger Hunt map and stickers at locations like Mouse Gear, World Traveler, Port of Entry, Stroller Rental locations, International Gateway, and at the merchandise cart in Canada for $7.99.
Once you find ALL the traditions, guests can visit Disney Traders, Mouse Gear, or World Traveler to redeem the map for a special gift! You can read all about our adventure with Olaf here.
At this year’s Festival guests can see the following character promenades:
- Santa Claus Promenade – Come see Old St. Nick take a grand tour around World Showcase in his horse-drawn carriage calling out happy holiday wishes to all.
- Mickey and Friends Holiday World Tour – Keep your eyes peeled for Mickey Mouse and his friends, dressed in their seasonal finest and waving to pals like you throughout the World Showcase.
- Frozen Holiday Promenade – The Holiday spirit is in the air as Queen Anna and Elsa ring in the season at Epcot, journeying from country to country and waving to their fans along the way.
- Princess Promenade
