You’ll find Trattoria al Forno on Disney World’s BoardWalk.

This eatery serves breakfast and dinner daily and is an “original Italian restaurant.” The dinner menu features regional specialties with classic preparations. Many of the ingredients are crafted in-house.

Trattoria al Forno also features seasonal risotto and serves only Italian wines.

The theme is Italian, with breakfast serving up “old world favorites.” You’ll find traditional breakfast foods here, but many have an Italian twist. Although this is not a buffet, portion sizes are sizable and enough to satisfy big breakfast eaters.

The Atmosphere at Trattoria al Forno

The waiting area almost feels like an old Italian couple’s living room, complete with family photos on the wall.

The vibe inside the restaurant is modern Italian, and the dining space is full of dark wood and red accents with gold lighting fixtures.

As you make your way through the Italian chic dining room, you’ll pass the spacious open kitchen counter, where you’ll witness the chefs prepare dishes that will eventually make their way to their corresponding tables.

The walls are lined with vintage portraits of scenic Italian cities, and you could be seated at either a table with high-backed chairs or a deep burgundy booth.

• Want a hearty, unique breakfast. There are plenty of morning standouts.
• Wine lovers, rejoice. The list leans all-Italian, with thoughtful by-the-glass options and bottles from classic regions—ideal for pairing with red-sauce classics or rich braises.
• Convenient for Crescent Lake resorts. Easy walk from Beach/Yacht/BoardWalk (or EPCOT’s International Gateway)—solid convenience if you were already planning a sit-down meal nearby.

Skip Trattoria al Forno if…

• Hoping for a character meal. The Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast (Rapunzel/Ariel & their princes) still hasn’t returned here—plan a different spot if characters are a must.
• Need fast, cheap, or super adventurous. This is leisurely table service with mid-tier pricing and an approachable Italian menu; if you want lightning-quick or boundary-pushing cuisine, look elsewhere.
• Want a big, quiet room at peak times. It’s popular and can feel lively during prime hours; if you’re after hush-hush ambience, consider a later reservation or another Crescent Lake option.
