Mobile Dine Check-In is a feature available to Walt Disney World guests via the My Disney Experience app.
This feature allows guests to bypass the host check-in at participating table service restaurants around the Resort for which they have an Advance Dining Reservation.
Mobile Dine Check-In was announced as part of the Enhanced Technology that is available to guests to promote new safety measures as Walt Disney World reopens to guests, which began with select Resort hotels on June 22, 2020.
You may use the steps below to familiarize yourself with Mobile Dine Check-In, and you can read about our first experience using the system here!
Mobile Dine Check-In — Step By Step
Step 1:
Install the latest version of the My Disney Experience app on your Android or iOS device.
Step 2:
When your check-in window arrives for the participating table service restaurant where you’ve made an Advance Dining Reservation, you’ll receive a push notification prompting you to check-in through the app!
Alternatively, you can scan the QR code located in the restaurant’s lobby. (Participating restaurants are listed below.)
Step 3:
From here, you’ll be able to check in for your reservation by confirming your arrival time and party information.
Step 4:
You will be guided through a few prompts regarding any special concerns or notes you may have. For instance, you will have a chance to note any dietary restrictions for anyone in your group if you did not do so when making the reservation.
Or perhaps you’d like your server to know you are celebrating a special occasion!
All set?
Step 5:
Once you’ve navigated through the prompts, you’ll be able to review your Check-In Summary to ensure all of your information is correct.
And finally, you’ll provide your mobile number to receive a text message when your table is ready. And then…
There’s just one more step to go…
Step 6:
When your table is ready, you’ll be notified where to go with a text to be seated by a cast member.
And now… it’s time to settle in and ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
