Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a Table Service restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can find it over in Toy Story Land (also known as Andy’s backyard)! 

Roundup Rodeo BBQ takes guests on a rootin’ tootin’ dining experience in a play area: a RODEO arena, created by Andy himself! Andy has taken some of his favorite games and play sets to create the scene, with both western toys and other items (like blocks, lights, cardboard cut-outs, and more) coming together to make a bright and colorful mash-up atmosphere. (In fact, you may even experience an “Andy’s Coming” moment!)

Guests will also spot representations of Disney•Pixar characters as toys and game pieces set the playful scene in what is sure to be a lively and memorable dining experience (though it is not a Toy Story character meal).

The Meal at Roundup Rodeo BBQ

Enjoy BBQ fare served family-style! Platters feature house-smoked meats, classic sides, and miniature “sweet surprises”. We love the family-style service and the fact that you can order multiple sides and desserts. It’s an incredibly fun atmosphere, and a really great value if you’re looking to get a hearty meal during your park day.

Bread Service

• The Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits served with sweet pepper jelly

Salads

• Rootin’ Tootin Tomato Salad: Tomatoes, cucumbers, and pickled red onions tossed in a white balsamic vinaigrette and garnished with fresh dill (plant-based)

• Wheezy’s Watermelon Salad: Cubed watermelon garnished with freshly torn mint leaves (plant-based)

House-Smoked Meats

• Evil Dr. Smoked Ribs: Fall-off-the-bone pork ribs, slow-cooked for hours in our onsite smokehouse
• Buttercup’s Beef Brisket: Hand-sliced beef brisket, smoked then slow-cooked to juicy perfection
• There’s a Sausage in My Boot: Spiced pork sausage fire-grilled over live oak to give it an added kick
• BBQ Chicken – with Style! Chicken brined for 48 hours, rubbed with our secret backyard BBQ spice and smoked to tender juiciness

Trixie’s Plant-Based Trio

• Combat Carloflower: Cauliflower topped with sweet harissa drizzle and crunchy walnut gremolata
• Scrumptious Bratwurst: Oven-roasted “Bratwurst” that is tender and juicy, sliced to perfection
• Rip Roarin’ Rib Chop: Impossible “Rib Chop” seasoned with spices, then roasted and glazed with sweet BBQ sauce and skewered on a sugar cane “bone”

All entrees are also served with “an assortment of sweet, traditional, and spicy BBQ sauces.”

You’ll be able to choose 4 of the following for your table to enjoy:

• Slinky Doooooooooog Mac & Cheese: Spiral pasta in a creamy house-made cheese sauce topped with crumbled cheddar crackers

• Buckin’ Baked Beans: A traditional BBQ picnic favorite (plant-based)

• Cowpoke Corn on the Cob: Grilled and seasoned with a chili-lime spice blend, cilantro, cotija cheese, and lime juice

• The Claw! Veggie Slaw: Crunchy shredded veggie slaw that is a summertime favorite! (plant-based)

• Potato Barrels (plant-based)

Desserts

Select ONE each per guest from the following:

• Cupcake à la Forky: Forky is up to something sweet! A classic chocolate cake with a gooey chocolate ganache center topped with velvety graham cracker buttercream and a sugar cookie

• Bo’s Seasonal Cheesecake

• Billy’s Chocolate Silk Pie: Layers of graham cracker crust and silky chocolate mousse topped with chantilly cream

• Goat’s Banana Cream Pie
• Gruff’s Strawberry Shortcake (Plant-based)

Beverages

If you want a standard soda or iced tea, that’ll be available along with a few kids’ picks. These “standard” beverages (Peach Iced Tea) are included in the price of the meal. Grown-up Craft Cocktails (Grown-up’s Peanut Butter & Jelly), beer, hard cider, wine by the glass, and mocktails (Partysaurus Tex) are also available at an additional cost.

The Atmosphere at Roundup Rodeo BBQ

Get ready to be transported to Andy’s backyard for a barbecue!

This is a fully immersive western-style themed restaurant designed to help people feel like they’re really part of the Toy Story gang. Everywhere you look, you’ll find hidden details and nods to some of your favorite characters.

We could spend hours in here just taking in all the details and nods to nostalgic games and toys from our childhoods.

In addition to having enough details to keep us occupied for hours, there are plenty of places to sit here, too.

You’ve got some major Toy Story fans in your group. There’s not one corner of this restaurant that’s not completely themed around Toy Story/giving you the impression that you, too, are a fellow toy. From giant game boards to cardboard cutouts to familiar faces, there’s so much to look at while you’re here. No one’s gonna be bored at this restaurant. (Oops — ANDY’S COMING! Guess we better all freeze in place so he doesn’t catch us! We are toys, after all. Gotta keep up the facade!)

You’re arriving HUNGRY. Roundup Rodeo BBQ makes sure you get your money’s worth out of your meal. The endless smoked meats and picnic sides are plentiful — and you can ask for refills on pretty much anything ‘til your heart’s content.

You want a place that picky eaters and adventurous eaters can agree on. Barbecue tends to be a safe bet for picky and adventurous eaters alike. That being said, if someone in your group isn’t too keen on the smoked and saucy meats, they’re bound to still enjoy the sides and fixins — like the cheddar biscuits, mac and cheese, potato barrels, corn, and more. Also, for plant-based eaters, there’s also a family-style offering that you can order instead — called Trixie’s Plant-Based Trio — which’ll come with options featuring Impossible meats and jazzed-up cauliflower.

Giddyup on by if..

You already have BBQ dining plans on your itinerary. There are a lot — and I mean a LOT — of barbecue restaurants available in Disney World. In fact, Roundup Rodeo BBQ is probably the most expensive barbecue option of the bunch. So if you’d rather save your money but still dine on high-quality smoked/saucy meats, consider paying a visit to The Polite Pig in Disney Springs, Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom, or Regal Eagle Smokehouse in EPCOT instead.

Heavy barbecue and heat sound like a horrible combo. Picture this: You fill up on heavy meats, mac and cheese, bread, salads, you name it… and then you exit back out into the 90+ degree weather to continue on with your theme park day. Sound like a stomachache in the making for you? Then maybe it’s best to skip this option (OR choose to book it more towards the end of the day when the sun won’t be as blistering the moment you step out of the restaurant).

You want to meet the Toy Story characters. This restaurant may seem like the perfect place to meet and greet with Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Bo Peep, and the rest of the Toy Story gang, but this is not a character dining experience. Your best bet when it comes to meeting the Toy Story crew is to check on your My Disney Experience App to see when these friends might be making an appearance around Toy Story Land that day.

Important Information

• Service is family-style, so platters of food are brought to the tables, similar to what we see at places like Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Tree Tavern. This means that a fixed price is set for the meal: $49 for adults and $28 for kids (kids ages 3 to 9). The meals cost the same for lunch or dinner.
• Please note that Rodeo Roundup BBQ is NOT a Character Meal.
• Roundup Rodeo BBQ offers Mobile Dine Check-In and Mobile Dine Walkup Waitlist.
