Satu’li Canteen serves as the primary dining establishment for Pandora — The World of AVATAR in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom park!
Satu’li Canteen
Satu’li Canteen is a space that celebrates the culture and art of the Na’vi. Fitting right in with the story of the land, the space was originally a mess hall for the RDA (Resource Development Administration). However, ACE (Alpha Centauri Expeditions) repurposed the hall into the peaceful dining spot that explorers can experience when visiting Pandora today.
The international menu is “inspired by Pandora’s bounty.” There are customizable bowls and Steamed Pods (twists on Bao Buns) along with unique drinks and desserts for lunch and dinner at this spot. Breakfast (including Cinnamon French Toast) is also served here, which is great for guests who make Pandora their first stop of the day in Animal Kingdom.

Journey to Satu’li Canteen if…
You need a filling, delicious meal no matter the time of day. This spot serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and each menu is in a league of its own. It’s one of our most reliable go-tos for a reason!
You want something beyond the “traditional” theme park food. If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous (and more nutritious than regular burgers and fries, might we add), this is a great choice (again, especially when it comes to those bowls). Even with the cheeseburger pods — they feature more standard flavors done up in a unique way, which makes the meal a bit more exciting than your regular theme park fare.
You’re looking for customizable options. One of the best perks to eating here is the ability to customize your bowls. You pick the protein, the base, and the sauce, so the dish is exactly how you want it.
Skip Satu’li Canteen if…
You want more traditional theme park food that’s simple and doesn’t have complex flavors. Though many of the flavors and dishes here are pretty approachable even for those with simpler palettes, if you’ve got some in the group that won’t eat anything except chicken nuggets, then you’ll want to head elsewhere to grab some more standard dishes.
You want a super budget-friendly meal. The food here isn’t as expensive as a Table Service meal, but it can get pricey for a Quick Service spot, especially if you order some of the more expensive dishes. If you’re really sticking to a slim budget, consider grabbing other items elsewhere. But remember that the portion sizes here are pretty good, so you could potentially split a few items and end up okay even on a tighter budget.
You’re looking to get a meal ASAP. This spot encourages Mobile Order, and wait times can sometimes be lengthy (especially on busy days). So if you’re hungry and looking for a snack to get right away, just be sure to check those Mobile Order return times first and see if there will be a big delay. If the next return time isn’t for a while, you might be better off opting to grab a snack or meal from one of Animal Kingdom’s snack stands instead. Or just remember to place that Mobile Order WELL in advance, so you have a greater selection of pickup times and you can pick one that works best for you!
