Although some construction projects have recently been paused, we’re excited to see that there are quite a few that are forging ahead, like the expansion of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin with the construction of a brand new tower called The Cove. Let’s take a look.
It ain’t easy being green, but Disney World’s new McDonald’s makes it look pretty EFFORTLESS!
The former McDonald’s on Disney World property shut its doors back in October to undergo a major renovation. The new location originally planned on opening sometime in March, but let’s just say their timeline got a little waylaid. 😉 Now, the new McDonald’s is finally OPEN, so let’s go check it out!
Disney is a pretty massive company, and that means they’re constantly making big decisions — especially right now.
These decisions are ESPECIALLY controversial when it comes to the theme parks. With the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World coming next year and the global health crisis causing unprecedented changes, it can be easy to feel a little (or a LOT) mad at how Disney is handling things. We’re taking a look at some things you SHOULDN’T be mad at Disney for…and some things you maybe SHOULD!
It’s been a while since we’ve seen construction progress at Disney World since all projects were put on pause shortly after the shutdown.
But today, we’ve seen a lot of action happening at the resort today as some hotels are preparing to reopen on June 22nd along with the theme parks on July 11th and July 15th. The Disney’s Skyliner gondolas are back out, not to mention the walls around Homecomin’s new outdoor Shine bar have come down!
It’s been a long time since the last time we stood in front of our beloved castle! And we’ll be able to see it again on July 11th when Magic Kingdom reopens!
And as you may recall, Cinderella Castle had just begun to receive her royal makeover shortly before the parks closed. The rosy gold paint job was going up FAST, but due to the temporary closures, all construction projects were put on hold!
We all know how much fun you can have on a Disney World vacation, but is it all just a trick of the mind?
Believe it or not, Disney is working some EXTRA behind-the-scenes magic you might not even be aware of!
Do you ever have a nagging feeling that you’re forgetting something IMPORTANT like — oh say — a DATE?
With the big news that Disney World will be proposing its reopening plan tomorrow, we almost didn’t realize what TODAY IS!
Construction may have temporarily stopped at the Disney parks, but improvements are still in the works!
That’s because Disneyland has just put into motion a $200,000 plan to renovate Frontierland’s iconic marquee!
We could all benefit from hearing a little bit of Judi Dench’s calm, reassuring monologue that begins to softly play after boarding our Spaceship Earth “time machine”…
…“Like a grand and miraculous spaceship, our planet has sailed through the universe of time; and for a brief moment, we have been among its passengers…”
