Picture this: you’ve spent all day at Disney World from rope drop to fireworks and broke world records for walking the most steps in one day in the brutal Florida heat. You’re more exhausted than you’ve ever been in your life, and you immediately become Sleeping Beauty in your comfy, cozy hotel bed with only one goal: sleep until noon. But what wakes you up bright and early the next morning? Construction!
There’s SO much construction at Disney World right now!
There are 22 hotels at Disney World, and ten are currently under refurbishment between room renovations, exterior maintenance, and structural updates. And just when we finally could see the light at the end of the tunnel, Disney quietly announced that two of these hotel refurbs have been extended!
Look, we know there’s a LOT of new additions coming to Disney World in 2027, but if you were to ask us which one we’re looking forward to the most? We’re just about a week away from being able to book reservations at Disney World’s new hotel, Lakeshore Lodge, and that probably sits at the very top of the list for us.

We’ve been following the latest construction updates and sneak peeks closely, and now we’ve gotten more info on one of the new lounges coming to the space, Branch & Bush. After Disney’s latest news drop, we’ve gotta say that dining here can’t come soon enough!
Disneyland is going through a LOT right now, with construction happening all throughout the resort. A new Coco ride and Avatar Land are coming to Disney California Adventure. Well, that’s not all. There’s also a lot of construction happening around the entrances to Disneyland, which means it’s a little harder to get INTO the resort. However, Disney recently posted a warning on its website about construction on the esplanade and how you can navigate it.

Based on the classic 2001 Pixar film Monsters, Inc., Monstropolis has risen quickly from the remains of the former Muppet Courtyard. Now, as the land is set to open (almost in full, but we’ll get to that) in 2027, let’s take a look at how it’s evolved!
We love to spend days in theme parks, but let’s face it…that kind of vacation can sometimes be EXHAUSTING (seriously, just a day walking all over EPCOT can wear you out). So if you’re looking for a different kind of vacation, a cruise might be just what you’re looking for. It’s relaxing, but there’s still plenty to do because most cruise ships are like little cities at sea.
