Jurassic Park River Adventure
If you check the Universal Orlando website before your trip, you’ll be able to see which rides and offerings will be closed during your visit. Right now, Jurassic Park River Adventure at Universal Islands of Adventure is closed for a while, getting some major construction. And if you’re curious what’s going on…we have a sneak peek!
A lot of construction is happening in Disney World right now, thanks to all the new lands and expansions coming to the parks. One is Pueblo Esperanza, a new Tropical Americas-themed land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is taking over the area once inhabited by DinoLand U.S.A.

This land will have three attractions, and thanks to some new aerial photos, we’ve got a better look at how construction on those attractions is coming along, including some brand NEW details.
Monsters, get your hard hats! Construction is well underway in Hollywood Studios, and we have been following the creation of this new land every step of the way.

Yet another refurbishment is coming to Disney World soon, and it’s going to affect where you can grab one of our favorite snacks in all of the resort.
Mickey Beignets at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter is known for many things, but the delicious beignets at Scat Cat’s Club are one of the biggest ones. If you’re a big fan of this fluffy, delightful snack, you need to know that where you can snag them will be CHANGING for the coming few months. Don’t worry, you won’t have to go far, but it will change the flow of things!
Disney World is full of construction walls these days! In the theme parks, monsters have put on their hard hats, cars are fueling up, and we’ve heard rumors about some dastardly villain plans.
All-Star Sports
Even the resorts are getting in on the big updates, and now a popular pool bar is closing for a limited time! If you’re rocking out at the All-Star Resorts, don’t be caught unaware.
If it feels like everything is under construction right now in Disney World…well, nearly everything IS under construction. You’ll be encountering construction everywhere, including in the parks and at the hotels. A lot is happening right now, including the construction of new lands and new rides, hotel renovations, and more.
Ursula at Art of Animation
We recently learned that Disney’s Art of Animation Resort would soon be getting room renovations, with work scheduled to begin in June 2027. Well, now we know when the room renovations should be complete.
Heads up! If your Disney World vacation starts soon and you’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club Villas, you’ll want to be aware of this refurbishment project.

Over at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, you’re located in the EPCOT Resorts area, meaning you’re super close to a bunch of other hotels and delicious dining options (not to mention EPCOT itself). For weeks now, the boat dock near Disney’s Yacht Club has been closed for refurbishment, and it took a little longer than expected to complete. We’ve got great news though — it’s finally back open!
