The resort was first announced in 2023, and we’ve followed along for every step of its development. Now, after years of waiting, we are only ONE MONTH away from the resort’s opening date! Here’s everything we know ahead of the big day.
Dark Universe is a whole VIBE in Epic Universe, and if you love classic Universal Monsters and gothic horror, it might just be your favorite place in all of Universal Orlando (and truth is, WE LOVE IT).
We’re back at The Burning Blade Tavern
That comes right down to the themed food at The Burning Blade Tavern, too (and yes, it has a windmill blade that REALLY burns). Well, when we learned a new snack had arrived at the tavern, we put on our grimmest outfits and headed over to rub elbows with the monsters to check out this new food.

Universal Kids Resort is coming to Frisco, Texas, and it’s opening on July 1st. It’s going to be geared specifically towards younger audiences, and now, tickets are available online. How much is it going to cost you to visit?
Universal is opening a new theme park this year! Universal Kids Resort is located in Frisco, a suburb north of Dallas, Texas. It’s aimed at families with young children, but it’s fun for both kids and kids-at-heart!

Universal Kids Resort will have seven lands themed after Shrek, SpongeBob, Minions, Trolls, and Jurassic World. The theme park has had an unspecified “opening in late 2026” for months, but now Universal has just announced the opening date — mark your calendars for July 1st, 2026!
Universal Orlando is home to three theme parks that are incredible to explore throughout the day, not to mention CityWalk connecting two of them, but what about when it’s hot outside, and you’re looking to cool off? That’s where you’ll find lots of guests head to Volcano Bay, a fan-favorite water park in all of Orlando!

During summer days, you’ll find that the water park is pretty packed, thanks to the promise of cool water and epic water slides to bring joy to people of all ages. What if you want to bypass the crowds, though, and maybe you don’t want to be swimming (or waiting in line for slides) in the heat of the day? That’s where Universal’s $99 Volcano Bay Nights experience comes in, but is it really worth the cost? We found out!

Universal Studios Orlando is seeing a good amount of construction across its three parks, with most of it happening at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

The Lost Continent at Islands of Adventure is getting close to being demolished to make way for something new, and a bunch of other ride closures have been happening across the parks. Now, Universal has announced that ANOTHER attraction is closing, and it’s going to be gone for a while!
Universal fans, we have some exciting news for you! If you love movies, then you have to make your way over to Universal Studios to check out the new Spielberg Summer Blockbuster Exhibit.

Universal is known for these ultra-themed experiences, like the immersive experience Tribute Stores put together for Christmas, Mardi Gras, Halloween Horror Nights, and more. And this Exhibit has so many amazing props, costumes, and movie memorabilia you’ve come to expect from a themed Universal experience.
As Universal’s Epic Universe celebrates its first official anniversary, many guests are still experiencing the Orlando area’s newest theme park for the first time. There are the technologically advanced rides, the perfectly themed snack options, and the souvenirs.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Universal’s Epic Universe is about to upgrade its merchandise collection available at the park!

Although it’s unrelated to Epic Universe coming up to its first anniversary, the park is getting new merchandise on the shelves, and we’re so excited! One of our favorite things to buy when we’re at Disney World is Disney Lug Bags. Well, Lug bags are officially coming to Epic, and we’re freaking out!
