There are lots of construction projects going on in all four Disney World parks, but some of them mean that certain rides are shutting down for good. If you’re visiting the parks soon, be sure to take one last ride on these before they go away!

We love seeing Disney’s animals living their adorable lives over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom each time we visit, and one of our favorites is the African elephants. These gentle giants never fail to take our breath away, but today, Disney is celebrating something extra special in the park — Corra, the youngest elephant, turns ONE! We’ve been dying for a baby elephant update ever since Corra was first born, so it’s safe to say we are SUPER excited about this news.
Disney World is certainly an extremely magical place, but there’s also the fact that no matter how magical it is, negative things can still happen.

Many times, that comes in the form of sickness or injury while you’re on vacation. We know that’s not fun for anyone involved, and it can really put a damper on your vacation, but things happen, and it’s important you know how to deal with them BEFORE you get to Disney World. Thankfully, Disney World now has many different offerings in place that make getting medical help a breeze.
We’re only a few weeks away from Christmas, and that means that it’s time to really crack down on ordering those gifts so they arrive in time for the big day!

However, if you’ve got all your gifts taken care of, you’ve still got one more thing to tackle — the stocking. Sometimes, choosing gifts for the stocking is even harder than the regular gifts because you’ve got such little room to work with, but if you’ve got kiddos, you may not want to give them a TON of candy, or small trinkets that will get lost in moments. If there’s one thing that’s true about Disney World, it’s that it’s always changing.

However, we’re also always changing with it. Our snack preferences change, our tolerance for extreme heat may be getting lower, and, of course, we get older year after year. We’ve found that a lot of the members of our team have really started to notice this as they visit the parks in recent years because a lot of our team is made up of Millennials. As much as it pains us to admit, we’ve started to run into a nearly irreversible problem in the parks.
The holidays in Disney World bring tons of exciting opportunities to the parks, but what about the hotels?

There are some pretty spectacular gingerbread displays and Christmas trees spread around the Disney World resorts, which we absolutely love seeing each year. But that got us thinking about the hotels on Disney World property that aren’t owned by Disney — how are they celebrating? We found out firsthand that the holiday offerings over at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resorts are truly one of a kind, and we’re kinda obsessed with them!
You can certainly get pizza in Disney World, but it’s not Pizza Hut — you won’t find one of those on property.

There are, however, lots of Pizza Hut locations around Orlando, as well as plenty of other fast food chains, so when you’re driving in or out of Orlando, you’ll have lots of options. Pizza Hut, as it turns out, is a very vital part of a lot of people’s childhoods, which is why we’re surprised to see so many people hating Pizza Hut’s latest announcement.

Land in Hollywood Studios, and Tropical Americas aka Pueblo Esperanza is taking over Dinoland U.S.A. in Animal Kingdom — but what will all of this construction actually look like in the parks?
