There’s so much coming to the resort for the spooky season, and we’ve been doing everything in our power to keep up with it all so you stay in the know. Now that the Halloween season has officially kicked off, something very high on our list was to see some of our favorite classic characters in their new costumes, and we were NOT disappointed!

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival
The day we’ve been waiting for is finally here. If you’ve been planning a trip to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival this year, but don’t know what you plan to eat because menus weren’t out yet, we are here to SOLVE THAT PROBLEM! Disney just released the full foodie guide for this year’s festival, and it’s time to dive ALL the way in!
We’re here at the very first Oogie Boogie Bash of the Halloween season at Disney California Adventure, and you can bet we’re making it our mission to do everything!
This might be the best day of our lives
One of our favorite parts of this seasonal event is that we get to meet so many rare Disney characters. Though there’s a big difference between the meet-and-greets at this event and those at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom — there are TONS of villains to meet at Oogie Boogie Bash, and now, a new one has arrived!
While we here on the team still miss Disney’s Magical Express service every single day, we are glad there are options to help make getting to Disney World easier than taking a rideshare or taxi from the airport.
Luggage Services queue at All-Star Movies
Mears Connect is the main one, but what about if you’ve got an extra-long trip and you’ve got a TON of luggage? Do you need to lug it all around yourself to and from the airport? Well, if you’re staying at select airports, the answer is no, and now another hotel has been added to the list!
Calling all Hallmark fans! You’re about to want to spend all your money, and yes, we’re included in that, so we’re about to be broke as well.

We can’t wait for the release of the new Hallmark movie that was filmed partly at Disney World, Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True. It premieres on the Hallmark channel on November 28th, but now we know that something new is coming to Disney Springs to celebrate the film EARLY. A new Hallmark holiday pop-up shop is on its way!
When it comes to deciding what shoes to wear in the Disney parks, you’ve got a lot of options.

We know firsthand how awful it can be when the WRONG choice is made (yes, we’ve been there more times than we care to admit), so we’re often on the lookout for what the best shoes are for the parks. During hurricane season, like we’re in now, when rainy days are common, it’s good to have shoes that won’t get soaking wet and give you blisters for the rest of the trip. That’s just one of the reasons lots of Disney fans are switching over to Tevas, and we gotta say — we’re totally on board.

Disney gave us a look at the new Avatar Land and Avengers Campus expansion coming to Disney California Adventure during the event this weekend, but now there’s another announcement about the park — a new kiosk is on its way!
Construction is still all over Disney World, practically everywhere you look, and if there’s one thing we just learned from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, it’s that it isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

However, even before some of those large projects mentioned at the event are set to begin, there are other projects beginning around the Walt Disney World Resort. This is your reminder that, starting today, not one, but TWO big closures hit two different hotels on property.
It may be the end of summer for a lot of families as kids go back to school, but the summer heat in Orlando isn’t going anywhere just yet.

If you’re visiting Disney World this week, it’s important to know that there’s another heat advisory in effect due to the excessively high temperatures.
