Disney dropped a lot of news recently about hotel and ticket deals for this summer and new activities for kids in the parks. The other new perk, specifically for this hotel and a few others will begin this summer as well.

Rope dropping refers to the actual rope that Cast Members use to hold crowds from entering certain areas of the parks until it officially opens. Each park has its own set of procedures around rope dropping, and what it looks like at each park can vary. At Magic Kingdom, it is now even more important to consider setting those alarms early and being there for rope drop.
Driving to Disney World or renting a car during your vacation can make it easier.

It can be so nice not to have to rely on Disney World transportation. Although it is free and relaxing to have a Cast Member help take you where you need to go, it also has its downsides. Having your own car can give you greater flexibility to explore all that Disney World has to offer.
