After Cast Member previews and a surprise soft opening, this popular Tomorrowland ride is welcoming Space Cadets once again. We stopped by Magic Kingdom to check out the crowds and wait times, and we certainly weren’t the only ones!

One of our beloved and nostalgic attractions in Magic Kingdom is officially back open, which means we need to start our hand stretches and target shooting to be the first in our family to hit Galactic Hero.
While we got lots of Disney news this past week about deals and discounts to help make your next trip more affordable, we were grateful that it was another week where major closures didn’t happen around the resort.

While there was one closure in Disney Springs, and we found out another one is on its way, we also heard some INCREDIBLE news about a former beloved spot at Disney’s BoardWalk, AND a Disney World ride that’s been under refurbishment for months now actually reopened EARLY! If you’re visiting Disney World soon, these are the closures you need to know about happening before your trip begins.

A quick refresh on Early Entry before we begin: Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels (and select other hotels) can take advantage of a 30-minute early entry into each of Walt Disney World’s theme parks every day of their stay (including check-in and check-out days). We got the chance to check out this new ride as part of a media event and Cast Member previews, but now it looks like Disney has decided to open the ride a bit earlier than the official April 8th reopening date! Here’s everything we know about this soft opening.
For the first time in what feels like forever, Disney didn’t have any major closures or massive changes happen in the past week, and there aren’t a number of them lined up for this week either!
A closure is hitting Disney Springs this week!
Now, three out of the four parks are still majorly under construction, meaning there are walls practically everywhere, and this week, one store is closing in Disney Springs, but it feels like we’re officially towards reopenings versus closures, which is a HUGE achievement.
