No worries! You won’t find any dizzying spins here. One of the biggest (and most celebrated) changes to the new version of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is the replacement of the original, fixed blasters with new ones that can be picked up and aimed in any direction. FUN FACT! While riding the PeopleMover, you’ll get a glance at the model for the original vision for EPCOT called Progress City. This original model was intended to be a living community, which is very different than the EPCOT we have today! This is the real-deal, actual model, restored over the years and moved to Disney World for guests to view.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress
PLEASE BE AWARE: Carousel of Progress is currently closed to make major updates to the attraction. It is expected to reopen in 2027.
An absolutely quintessential Tomorrowland attraction, Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is — as the name suggests — an original attraction conceived by Walt Disney himself, debuting at the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair.
Take a “tour” through the century in a revolving theater and see the ways progress and innovation have enhanced the lives of one family over four generations.
FUN FACT! There are several Easter eggs on Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress! The final ride scene has 4 hidden Mickeys, and the grandmother from the attraction is actually the SAME grandma that appears in the ballroom scene in the Haunted Mansion.

TRON Lightcycle / Run
Get ready to ENTER THE GRID on TRON Lightcycle / Run!
Riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles and “launch into the Grid for a race through a dark, computerized world” reaching speeds up to 59 miles per hour. Disney shares that this attraction allows riders to “experience the energy, lights and excitement of TRON’s high-tech universe” in this “thrilling race through the digital frontier.”

Tomorrowland Dining
Counter Service Restaurants
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe serves up Counter Service classics right here in Tomorrowland! Dine on burgers, chicken strips, or sandwiches, and the like while taking in some tunes by the restaurant’s main attraction…
… the audio-animatronic alien lounge crooner, Sonny Eclipse!
The menu at The Lunching Pad is small, but stellar.
Here you’ll find specialty stuffed pretzels (like the savory Pepper Jack Pretzel or the Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel) along with a few more substantial bites (Gourmet Hot Dogs!) to fuel your Tomorrowland touring.
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant is only open seasonally (on the busiest of park days).
However, each night it serves as the base for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party, which you can learn more about by clicking here!
Snack Kiosks
Welcome to Energy Bytes! This futuristic spot is located near TRON Lightcycle / Run. Sweets include Slushies and a Watermelon, Cucumber, and Pineapple Cup.
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies is THE place to cool off with some soft-serve treats.
Craving a snack or a cold drink? Stop by AstroFizz!
Look for snacks such as popcorn, frozen slushes, and churros.
Specialty coffee and tea drinks can be yours (without the same lines you’ll encounter at the Main Street Bakery) thanks to Joffrey’s Revive!
And yes… you can find POPCORN in the future, too, by way of the Tomorrowland Popcorn Cart.
Which snack will you try in Tomorrowland?!
Disney Characters in Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland features a few Disney pals… and one of them is the mischievous Stitch! You can typically see him near the exit for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
Chip and Dale can also be spotted in their unique Tomorrowland costumes making a little mischief of their own as they roam around the area…
You can also find times for any additional character appearances in the My Disney Experience app.
More Tomorrowland Fun
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties offer guests a chance to enjoy the Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular with terrific views and, of course, fabulous food!
There are three versions of the Party from which to choose, and all offer a Dessert Buffet at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. Learn more about each option by clicking HERE.
Tomorrowland Shopping and Merchandise
Tomorrowland Launch Depot is where you can grab all your TRON gear!
Star Traders is Tomorrowland’s home for classic Disney souvenirs: mugs, plush, t-shirts, Mickey and Minnie Ears, and the like.
Ursa’s Major Minor Cart is a stand near the entrance to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover that offers similar souvenirs on a smaller scale.
