Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a seasonal Magic Kingdom event requiring a separate ticket for entry. In 2023, the event is taking place on select nights from August 11th through November 1st. Once inside, guests enjoy plenty of ghoulish fun and entertainment only available at the Party!
Trick-or-treating in the Magic Kingdom and the party-exclusive Boo-To-You Halloween Parade (which starts with an appearance by the Headless Horseman) are included, along with access to Magic Kingdom attractions and meet-and-greets with characters in their Halloween costumes. (NEW this year: Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle make appearances dressed up as the Sanderson Sisters in the Boo-To-You Parade! (You can find the full list of appearances below.)
The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is a party-exclusive show featuring the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus along with some of your favorite Disney Villains.
The exclusive Halloween fireworks spectacular, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, lights up the night just for party guests. It’s hosted by the Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington!
Select attractions receive a Halloween overlay with haunting (or not-so-spooky) effects. And NEW in 2023, guests have a chance to join a Virtual Queue for the new TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland!
Guests are welcome to wear costumes, too (guidelines for costumes can be found via a link under Additional Information below!).

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins at 7PM and ends at midnight; however, Party guests may enter the Magic Kingdom at 4PM. (We have some arrival time advice to avoid the opening lines here.)
Ticket prices vary throughout the run of the event, as seen below (with prices generally increasing as Halloween approaches) but start at $109 in advance for Adults (ages 10 and up) and $99 in advance for Children (ages 3 to 9).

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, valid for select event nights in August and September. To receive the discounted rates, Passholders and DVC Members must be logged into the Disney World website so their memberships are recognized. Members of the U.S. Military staying at Shades of Green may be eligible for discounts as well through Shades of Green, and information can be found on the ShadesofGreen.org website.

Ticket Sale Information
Tickets are on sale NOW via the Walt Disney World website. Note that if you have a ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you do NOT need a Magic Kingdom Park Pass reservation or park ticket. Also be advised that Disney Genie+ can NOT be used during the official Party hours of 7PM – Midnight.
Please be aware that in 2022, dates started to sell out for the party as early as August 1st, and the event was completely sold out by mid-September.
Party-Exclusive Entertainment and Inclusions At-A-Glance
- Trick-or-Treating at designated spots throughout the Magic Kingdom (with allergy-friendly options available — Request an allergy-friendly treat bag from a Cast Member);
- Guest-only access to Magic Kingdom attractions (some with Halloween overlays);
- Show: Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular — Presented at 8:35PM, 10:45PM, and Midnight; Starting October 1st, a fourth show will be added at 7:40PM;
- Fireworks Show: Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular — Presented at 10:15PM;
- Parade: Boo-To-You Halloween Parade — Presented at 9:15PM and 11:15PM (NEW this year: Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle will make appearances dressed up as the Sanderson Sisters in the Boo-To-You Parade!);
- Disney Junior Jam Dance Party at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe (you may find Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, Doc McStuffins, and Timon) and more character-themed dance parties like the Zom-Beatz Bash at Rocketeer Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland;
- NEW Pop-Up Parties with Max Goof and his Powerline party pals throughout the park:
- Exclusive entertainment such as the Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet in Frontierland and Rusty Cutlass (Pirate Swashbuckling Songs) in Adventureland;
- Photo opportunities with Disney characters in their Halloween costumes and event-exclusive PhotoPass Magic Shots (your Party Map will designate all character and photo locations!);
- NEW in 2023, guests have a chance to join a Virtual Queue for the new TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland; this means that spots will be limited, so riding this coaster during the party isn’t guaranteed;
- A commemorative print to take home;
- Party-exclusive snacks and merchandise available for extra purchase.

- TRON Lightcycle / Run — Disney’s website says that TRON Lightcycle / Run will be open with Virtual Queue Access Only for the 2023 Party. The site states that “An opportunity to request to join the virtual queue will be available at 6:00 PM for Guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter this attraction. A standby queue for this attraction will not be available during the event. Each Guest can request to enter this virtual queue no more than once per event.”
Special Entertainment and Inclusions
Tricks and TREATS!
Trick-or-Treating takes place at designated spots throughout Magic Kingdom (including Allergy-Friendly snacks)! You don’t even need to worry about bringing a plastic pumpkin to store your goodies, because Disney has free treat bags for you to use and keep.
Disney has a partnership with Mars Wrigley (the company behind M&M’s, Skittles, Snickers, and many other beloved candies) and they are the “signature sponsor” of the Halloween Party. When you first pick up your Trick-or-Treat bag, you’ll get one full-size bag of M&Ms to start you on your way!
P.S. If you’re looking for a Treat Trail, they’re hard to miss — just look for the giant markers! You can also see them designated in your Party Map and in the My Disney Experience app.

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks is a true highlight of the event!
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is a returning favorite… and continues to delight to this day.
The parade features characters dressed up in their Halloween costumes, plus some unique characters like the grave digging ghosts from the Haunted Mansion, and an unbelievable ride-through by the Headless Horseman!
And — new this year — Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle make appearances dressed up as the Sanderson Sisters!
The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is a show performed at the Cinderella Castle stage.
During the show, the Sanderson Sisters call upon other Disney villains to help them create the Hocus Pocus Party Potion!
Additional entertainment includes songs performed by the charmingly spooky Cadaver Dans!

Halloween Fireworks Dessert Party Add-on
For guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there are two versions of the Halloween Fireworks Dessert Party for Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular you may add on to your Party experience. Note that Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is a fireworks production exclusive to Party guests!
Guests can make Advance Dining Reservations 60 days prior to their booked evening at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party via the Walt Disney World website now. As a reminder: the Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party is available for booking exclusively for guests who have purchased tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Table Service Dining During the Halloween Party
Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella’s Royal Table will be open for Table Service dining during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you’re hoping to eat there during your time at the party (assuming you’ve got a ticket to attend the party), you may now make Advance Dining Reservations 60 days prior to your booked evening at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party via the Walt Disney World website.
Note that the dining experiences at Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table are a separate cost and not included in the price of the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket. Since you’ll only be booking alongside those with party tickets for reservations, it could give you a better chance to dine at one of these incredibly popular spots.
