food IS a theme park
Did you know that there are some Disney World rides you SHOULDN’T ride until the end of the day? Why? Well, we’re here to tell ya.
Tower of Terror
We took to our Facebook and asked YOU, the Disney World experts, which rides you should ride at night! Whether it’s because it’s a shorter wait or the experience is just better at night, there are 7 rides you should keep toward the end of your to-do list for the day. Let’s go through them!
Sometimes Disney drops news and we have to do a double take because we go, “…what did they just say?”
EPCOT After Hours
A few times, that’s because Disney has announced something we totally weren’t expecting, but then there are other times, like today, when Disney gets a little cryptic. In a recent post about PhotoPass, Disney dropped some interesting news that has us thinking that something could be changing soon when it comes to a ride photo.
Single rider lines are the ultimate hack for shorter wait times in Disney World, if you’re a solo rider or okay with splitting up your party, of course.
Single Rider Line
These lines allow parties of one to fill in seats that may be open on rides otherwise. We’re at Disney World EVERY DAY, so it’s safe to say we know a lot about these single rider lines, but do you know the trick to see how fast a single rider line will move?
Disney World is making A LOT of changes, and it’s not only in their theme parks or resorts — but they’re also making changes to the My Disney Experience app, too!

These changes can actually affect how you ride the attractions in the theme park! Are these changes people actually wanted? Let’s just say…no.
Disney World is making A LOT of changes right now, especially in their theme parks.
Walls are up at Carousel of Progress!
We don’t want you to be met with any surprises during your trip, so we’re here to tell you about the attractions that will be closed for refurbishment in October. Don’t worry, there are only four of them…but one of them is a WHOLE park!
Disney just showed us the ride vehicles for its upcoming Encanto attraction in Animal Kingdom, and we have questions. Specifically: Haven’t we seen something a LOT like these before?

At D23, Disney finally revealed more details about Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, the major family attraction coming to Pueblo Esperanza in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We learned its official name, got new concept art, saw some of the animals that will appear inside, and got our first real look at the vehicles that will carry guests through Casita. And those vehicles look awfully familiar.
We’re nearing the end of summer, which means there will be fewer crowds and more refurbishments coming to Disney World.
Carousel of Progress Refurbishment
But don’t worry, we’re not fully in that territory yet! Only TWO attractions will be closed for refurbishment in September, and one of them isn’t even in the traditional theme parks!
Disney World is known for being fun for guests of all ages. There are slow rides with no height restrictions for the younger ones, fast and action-packed rides for the thrill seekers, and shows for the guests who just want to relax.
TRON Lightcycle / Run
But let’s all be honest — there are some rides where age plays a factor in whether or not you’ll be enjoying the attraction. What we once loved to ride as kids may not be as much fun in our 30s. With that being said, there may be some rides that we tend to avoid now that we’re older.
If you are planning a Disney World vacation, there are a lot of things to consider! From hotel accommodations to park tickets and more, you may find yourself thinking through what your actual day at Disney World will look like.
TRON Lightcycle / Run

TRON Lightcycle / Run
Since the ride’s opening, guests have experienced issues with fitting on the unique style of ride vehicle. Unlike other rides at Disney World, this attraction requires you to sit in a similar seat to a bike. This caused issues with guests being able to sit on these seats.
