This new version of Soarin’ flies riders over the East and West coasts, seeing the United States’ natural beauty and iconic cityscapes. While the ride was in a soft opening phase for a few days before its official opening, we wanted to stop by and see if there were any crowds on opening day!

EPCOT will have so many new changes starting on May 26th. Between the brand-new Soarin’ Across America and the return of GoofyCore, there will be so many new things to do!

But while we were at EPCOT this morning, we checked our My Disney Experience app to check the wait times and found that Soarin’ Across America has opened early!

Since it opened back in 2005, Soarin’ has been one of EPCOT’s most popular rides, both in its Over California and Around the World variations. However, the ride’s latest incarnation might end up being its most popular of all… and certainly its most patriotic.
Soarin’ Across America is Disney’s latest version of the beloved Soarin’ attraction, and it’s officially opening to the public on May 26th. You’ll hop on the iconic seats, click your seatbelt in, and pull on that yellow tab before taking off on a journey across the United States, all in honor of the 250th anniversary of the country.

Now, we’ve gotten a chance to ride the attraction, and there’s something you need to know before you climb in.
Soarin’ Across America officially opens in EPCOT on May 26th, and on July 2nd over at Disneyland Resort, but thanks to Cast Member previews, we’ve already gotten a chance to ride and share our thoughts with you.

Disney World Annual Passholder previews will take place soon on May 19th and 20th, so soon more guests will be able to experience the ride, but after sharing our experience on social media, we’ve already heard some things from fellow fans that we can’t help but agree with after riding. In fact, we’d go as far as to say that after riding only a few times, there are three major problems that have been unveiled with this new version of the ride.

Soarin’ Across America is the new overlay for the popular Soarin’ attraction in both Disney World and Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort, and while it doesn’t open in DCA until July 2nd, it’ll officially open to the public in Disney World’s EPCOT on May 26th.

However, Cast Member previews are currently ongoing, and Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to ride early on May 19th and 20th, so we’ve fortunately already gotten the chance to ride. We’ve got some thoughts of our own, but after sharing our ride through on social media as well, it seems that a lot of Disney fans ALSO have some serious thoughts about this new version of the ride. You’ve been warned now — there are spoilers ahead!
