Oh, now we’re ZOOMING!
While there isn’t an official opening date announced for this new Universal Hollywood roller coaster, the ride has soft opened, welcoming guests on, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
When planning a visit to Universal Orlando, it can be difficult to decide what you should eat on your trip and what you should skip.
Which is why we are here! We make sure to review food items across all of Universal Orlando, so you know what you need to prioritize on your next trip. And we recently stopped by the cutest (and most mischievous) restaurant in Universal Studios. [Read more…]
So, we feel like we are now experts on snacks that come in cones, thanks to the Cozy Cone Motel over in Disney California Adventure, and those EPIC cones we’ve had in Epic Universe. Generally speaking, a snack with the word “cone” in it means it’s in a bread cone, which makes it all that much better.
So you would think when we visited Universal Orlando recently to have yet another cone snack, it would be the same, right? But, nope, something was VERY different about the cone snack we just had there, and we’re wondering how there was such a disconnect between Epic Universe and Universal Islands of Adventure. Okay, let’s talk about it.
We’ve only got a few more months to experience the popular Mythos Restaurant at Islands of Adventure in Universal Orlando, but for now, you’ll be treated to tons of construction around the land while you eat.
This is all part of Universal’s plan to retheme The Lost Continent part of the park, though it hasn’t yet been revealed what it’ll be rethemed to. Mythos Restaurant is set to close in 2027, but a large portion of this area of the park has been under demolition now for months. Thanks to our friend @bioreconstruct on X (formerly known as Twitter), we just got an updated look at what’s going on behind the walls, and WOW is it a sight to see.
The high cost of travel has started to affect theme park attendance at Universal Orlando, and it’s important to keep an eye on these trends to see how it may affect other theme parks in the area or your travel plans.
What does this exactly mean for your upcoming trip? Let’s break it all down.
Grab your cloaks and your wands, because the Wizarding World calls us!

Hogwarts at Universal Orlando
Back to Hogwarts is returning to Universal Orlando Resort starting on August 1st, and it’s something that Harry Potter fans will not want to miss! It’s a time of celebration for the Wizarding World, and we’re very excited. We have all the information you need to know before it begins, so let’s get into it.
We’ve got more Halloween Horror Nights news for you, and we’ve got a feeling some of you are about to get REALLY excited!
We’ve been keeping up with the latest Halloween Horror Nights news, because the start of the season is just around the corner. The event takes place most nights from August 28th through November 1st, and we hope you’ve already grabbed your tickets, because it’s shaping up to be an epic event. If you’re a big fan of the new horror film, Evil Dead Burn, then you’ll love this new Haunted House announcement!
If there’s one thing you can’t miss in Epic Universe, we’d probably say it’s The Untrainable Dragon show. This show lets you enter the world of dragons with Hiccup, and you get to actually see Toothless fly over you. It’s insanely magical, and many of our DFB team members have cried when watching it for the first time.
Well, this show is going under a short refurbishment, and you might not be able to see it at all!
Get ready to get scared! Passes for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando are officially for sale, which means if you’re someone who needs to see the houses again and again, now is your time.
This also means we’re getting a good look at the prices for the passes, which might be worth screaming about.
There are so many changes going on in the theme park world these days!
Islands of Adventure
Over at Universal, new coasters are underway, and classic shows are getting some major updates. An entire land even closed, and we’re still waiting on what new items could be coming! Now, it seems like a long-time restaurant is going extinct very soon.
