The Universal Orlando Resort had a HUGE 2025, with the openings of the Epic Universe theme park and its three hotels: Stella Nova, Terra Luna, and the Helios Grand. One might think that, between those additions and Universal opening a new kids-oriented resort in Texas and a new major attraction in Hollywood in 2026, the Florida resort might be taking a back seat this year. They’d be wrong.

Universal Orlando Announces 2026 Halloween Horror Nights Theme!

Halloween Horror Nights is turning 35 this year! To celebrate, Universal Orlando has something big planned.

This year’s theme will be the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares! It will be hosted by Halloween Horror Nights icon Jack the Clown, and his legendary rival, Dr. Oddfellow, will band together to scare Universal Studios guests. Halloween Horror Nights starts on August 28th and runs through November 1st, so get ready to scream!

UPDATE On Universal Orlando’s Newest ‘Fast and the Furious’ Roller Coaster

A month ago, Universal Orlando Resort made an announcement that had us jumping out of our seats. They announced that Universal Studios would be getting a new Fast and Furious roller coaster!

The new attraction is called Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift, and it will be replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, which closed last year. The new ride isn’t set to debut until next year, in 2027; however, we are already seeing aerial photos of construction taking place at the park, and we can’t help but be excited. Universal’s Epic Universe Just Shared Some GREAT News

Comcast NBCUniversal, the parent company of Universal Destinations & Experiences, just revealed some great news. Universal’s newest park, Epic Universe, is now the most profitable theme park in Universal history. This fall had Epic Universe’s best earnings yet and surpassed 1 billion dollars in earnings, the highest of every Universal park across the world.

Universal theme parks brought in 23.5% more earnings from last October to December compared to the summer quarter. During the winter quarter, Universal Destinations & Experiences brought in record profits, largely due to their newest theme park, Epic Universe.
