For a while now, we’ve been getting hyped about Epic Universe, the latest theme park to join the Universal Orlando Resort. We’ve seen lots of teasers about the attractions, shopping, and dining offerings coming to the park, as well as the new hotels, but this whole time we’ve been waiting for an opening date. And now, we FINALLY know when the park will open!
If you’re looking for something a little more intense than Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World, then you may be planning to head to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort this year!
It’s time!
Halloween Horror Nights, or HHN, is certainly NOT for the faint of heart! If you’ve never been to one of these events before, you may be in for a surprise if you don’t know what you’re getting into. But that’s why we’re here! If you’re heading to the event this year, here’s everything you need to know so you’re not caught off guard!
Okay, we have to say it, but everything we’ve learned so far about Epic Universe has been, well, EPIC (yes, we went there).

Each land seems to have been carefully thought out and constructed and so far, the theming seems SO on point. We’ve learned about Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Celestial Park, and Dark Universe so far. That just leaves one more land remaining (yep, FIVE NEW LANDS in this new theme park), The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. Well, we finally have ALL the details about this new Harry Potter-inspired land!
We might be Disney Food Blog, but we’re pretty darn excited about everything going on at Universal Orlando.
