We trained with lightsabers, ate ALL of the food (literally all of it), and saw some fun entertainment on board like fireworks. Trips on the ship have been pretty booked up since it opened, and Disney says they don’t expect that to change any time soon.
The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (also known as the Star Wars hotel) is Disney World’s newest Star Wars offering, and it feels like there are never enough ways to experience everything it has to offer! We brought you all the deets from the opening of this highly anticipated hotel, and now there’s something new to share.
There are so many activities to do onboard the Starcruiser, including cultivating your own personal storyline, a seat at the Captain’s Table, and even playing a game of holo-Sabacc, among MANY other unique options. Now the newest offering on the Galactic Starcruiser might let you immerse yourself even further into your space adventure!
Had enough of vacationing on planet Earth? Go on an intergalactic trip aboard the Halcyon instead!
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars Hotel) is an immersive, all-inclusive 2-night vacation that’ll take you to space (not literally!) and put you at the center of your own Star Wars story. Transportation to and from the hotel is something you’ll want to carefully plan for ahead of your trip, and today we have a bit of an update when it comes to just how some guests can get to the hotel.
If you’ve been on the Disney side of the internet for the past few weeks, odds are you’ve seen a LOT about Disney World’s new Star Wars Hotel.
The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a fully immersive two-night trip aboard the cruise ship-like Starcruiser, the Halcyon. Though you aren’t really soaring through space, the experience is designed to last the entire duration of your stay; that means a trip on Galactic Starcruiser could mean missing two park days. Can it possibly be worth it?
Everyone’s got to make a living — even people (and creatures) in a galaxy far, far away. Coaxium regulators don’t grow on trees, after all! Now that the Star Wars hotel is open to guests, we’re sure you have a TON of questions, which is why we’re here to help! We might not be as knowledgeable as C-3PO (we still can’t calculate the odds of successfully navigating an asteroid field), but we do know the ins and outs of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser!
From the loaded questions like “Is this experience worth the money?” to the simple questions like “Are there french fries in space?” we have answers to ALL your burning questions! Today, though, we’re tackling a different question: Do Star Wars characters accept tips?
We’ve officially taken TWO voyages on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser…A.K.A. Disney World’s NEW fully immersive Star Wars Hotel. This offering is a fully-immersive two-night experience similar to a cruise ship where you are launched into your own Star Wars story on a “space cruise.”
That means you don’t really leave the building for the two days, besides a trip out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So, what about those of us that struggle with claustrophobia? We’re here with a NO BS guide to being claustrophobic at Disney’s Star Wars Hotel!
We’re here to take a look back at the five BEST and the five WORST things we ate in the month of February in Disney World, and this list has some items from recently reopened restaurants and a brand new Disney World hotel. What do you think made the list?
Planet Earth just ain’t doing it for ya? Need a vacation to a place that is out of this world? Gotta try that blue shrimp A.S.A.P.? Well then you’re in luck!
We got to go on a media preview sailing on Disney World’s brand NEW Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars Hotel), and we recently went again on our own paid trip. We’ve brought you full reviews of it all — lunch, dinner 1, dinner 2, the space lounge, lightsaber training, the WORKS. Ready to take the leap and book a trip of your own to see what this is all about? Well, currently you can book reservations for this experience through September, but soon you’ll be able to book a little bit further into the year!
The maiden voyage of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser — AKA the Star Wars Hotel — kicked off yesterday, and there have already been some new additions to the experience compared to when we were there last week.
We tried out ALL of the food, trained with lightsabers, gave you a full tour of the cabins, and played some games of Sabacc in the Sublight Lounge. We’re back on the Starcruiser right now, and there has already been a NEW food item introduced on the ship!
Are there Mickey waffles in space? What do fireworks look like from a starcruiser? Do I really have to participate in all of the antics with the characters? Why is the blue shrimp BLUE?! You’ve got space questions, we’ve got answers!
Recently, we got the chance to hop aboard the Star Wars Hotel (Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser) as part of a special media preview event. We then revisited the hotel during its inaugural sailing on March 1st. So basically we’ve become space EXPERTS. Considering the high price tag that comes with the experience, we know you’ve probably got a lot questions that you want the answers to before you decide whether or not to take the leap and pay to stay in space. We’re sharing the answers to those questions right here!
