Okay, we tried LOTS of new food this week in Disney World — and we’re not mad about it.
First, we found a Loaded Totcho Bowl at Wilderness Lodge, and it is officially one of our favorite Disney World breakfasts. We also had a chance to dive into a DELICIOUS new boozy snack at the Contemporary Resort. We also dove into the new exclusive Annual Passholder treat now available at Hollywood Studios. All we can say is YUM. Now, we’re taking a look at Disney World restaurant menus to see what else has changed.
It’s been another week in Disney World, and yes, we continue to eat our way through the entire resort (#sorrynotsorry).
We even recently came up with a super cheap snack hack. We also got all the details about the NEW snacks arriving in Disney World AND Disneyland in June. We even got more details about the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic (Disney World’s OTHER Food and Wine festival). However, we also saw some menus change at Disney World restauarants this week.
There are quite literally DOZENS of Disney World hotels, so how do you choose where to stay?
Many times, price is the biggest factor, followed by things like amenities, transportation, or proximity to the parks. It can be a challenging decision to make! That’s why today, we’re discussing one of Disney’s most popular hotels and warning you about its BIG problem.
We’ve been having a great week here at DFB, especially with all the details we just got about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (it’s never too early to get excited about Halloween, y’all).
However, we also spent some time eating a ton of hot dogs in Disney Springs (it’s for science, we swear!), figuring out how to get a Mango Pie with no wait, and revisiting Kona Cafe. We’ve also been keeping an eye on menus at Disney World restaurants, and BOY, they have changed this week.
It’s already the middle of April 2024? How did that happen?
It’s been a busy week in Disney World, too. We learned about a new exclusive lounge coming soon to Disney World. We’ve been getting some clues about what other Tiana-themed things could be coming to Disney World (hint: we want to see a restaurant!). We’re also just waiting for Disney to announce an official opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom. (we think we’ll know really soon). Meanwhile, Disney World restaurants were busy changing, like they always do.
It’s been a busy spring at Disney World.
TRON Lightcycle / Run has opened in Magic Kingdom. Roundup Rodeo BBQ has opened in Hollywood Studios. There’s all kinds of construction still going on over at EPCOT. Disney World hotels are also staying busy right now — so let’s go on a trip around the World’s hotels to see what’s new.
Resort hopping is one of our favorite things to do at Disney, and splurging at the resort shops, eating at the themed restaurants, and simply looking at all the resort decor makes a good day even better!
Sometimes, some really great merchandise and snack options are hiding in the resort shops rather than in the parks. We went to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and then later took the Skyliner to some other resorts on property, and we found some great items including several exclusive things for DVC members! Plus, we even got to see some construction!
After a long, hot day at Disney, taking a dip in the pool is the best feeling ever. Maybe you even schedule a whole day of your trip to take a break from the parks and lounge by the gorgeous pools at Disney’s resorts.
If trips to the pool are an important part of your Disney vacation, you’ll want to keep reading so you don’t make a huge mistake when planning your next trip to Disney!
There is constantly news coming out of the Disney World parks, but the hotels are hopping, too!
Right now, it is refurbishment season so many of the pools are closed at hotels, movie nights are showing unexpected films, and we even tried a new treat this week. There is so much to do at Disney World’s hotels, which is why we’re showing you the latest updates on construction, food, and merchandise!
