We’ve Got Some Bad News About Disney World Restaurants

Happy New Year, DFB friends! We have officially kicked off 2026 in Disney World and said goodbye to the holiday season.

But there’s SO much to look forward to in the coming weeks, including the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, where we’ll be eating our way through every food booth (and we are SO ready). Well, it has CERTAINLY been a big week for Disney World news, right?

We finally got LOADS of new details about the Cars expansion coming to Frontierland, including that it will be called Piston Peak, and that it will introduce some new characters into the Cars universe (now if only Disney would drop some hints about what kind of FOOD this expansion will have — we have questions!). Anyway, speaking of food, we’ve been monitoring menu changes at Disney World restaurants all week, so let’s take a look at what’s been updated.

We’ve been busy trying some new snacks in Disney World, including an Up treat that sorta made us sad. But we were VERY happy with the Chicken and Donut combo we discovered in Disney Springs. We also had the opportunity to revisit one of our FAVORITE Disney World restaurants to try out some new menu items. It’s another spooky week in Disney World, celebrating all things Halloween, as well as all things EPCOT Food & Wine Festival.

We were recently reunited with one of our favorite Halloween treats, We also got a chance to try out the Pumpkin Butter Cocktail at Narcoossee’s (y’all, we’ve been talking about that one for DAYS). Disney also released a massive list of new foods coming to Disney World for Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month — and our tummies are READY! In the meantime, we’ve been keeping an eye on those Disney World restaurant menus, as we do, and we’ve noticed a few changes.

We’ve made it to May, y’all!

It’s so pretty!

Granted, it already feels like summer in Disney World (yes, it’s getting hot out), but that hasn’t stopped us from celebrating Hollywood Studios’ 35th Anniversary, seeing what new cookies Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs is offering this month, and chowing down on what is essentially a massive cake pop. We’ve also been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, and the beginning of a new month has brought a LOT of changes.

It’s Spring Break in Disney World and we’re dealing with a lot of crowds right now.

Over a HUNDRED Food Price INCREASES Hit Disney World

A lot of change is happening in Disney World.

Gyro at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort

A new attraction is set to open soon in EPCOT. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom is under construction. New DVC villas are being built at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Restaurants are changing in Disney World, too, and, well, some of those most recent changes include price increases.
