I Have Something Controversial to Say About Disney World Hotel Restaurants, and You Might Be Surprised About It

It is not only the theme parks and Disney Springs that have great dining options at Disney World.

Disney World’s hotels have SO MANY great dining options. Depending on whether you choose to stay at a Value, Moderate, or Deluxe Resort, your dining options increase. Value Resorts only have food courts, whereas Moderate Resorts will have a food court with some other quick-service and table-service options. Deluxe Resorts have the most dining options; for example, the Grand Floridian has over a dozen dining options, including a food court, a character dining experience, and the luxurious Victoria and Albert’s. If you were planning to enjoy a construction-free visit to a popular Disney World hotel, we’ve got some bad news. Disney is in the middle of a BIG restaurant refurbishment right now, and it seems like things might be taking longer than anticipated.

We already knew that one of Disney World’s most popular hotels, All-Star Movies Resort, was refurbishing its main restaurant. However, it seems they may need to extend that refurbishment. It might be a good idea to keep an open mind if you’ve got an upcoming trip planned.

Heads Up! These Disney World Restaurants Changed Their Menus This Week

Well, it certainly has been another exciting week in Disney World, hasn’t it?

We managed to get a sneak peek at the new Country Bear Jamboree show and we’re still singing some of those songs in our heads. We also had a chance to try a GLITTERY new coffee drink in Disney Springs. Disney also teased us with a familiar treat that was a LIE (okay, we’re over it, but still…). We’re also celebrating 15 years of DFB, which is a HUGE deal. BUT we’re still keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus and checking them for updates, and we’ve got even more changes this week.

The 4th of July has officially come and gone, as have the 4th of July snacks.

While we’re getting ready for the start of Halloween season, we’ve found what might now be our new favorite mac and cheese snack. We also celebrated the return of hushpuppies to Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom (and we’re hoping Sleepy Hollow waffles will also return soon). We also checked out some new menu items at Morimoto Street Food in Disney Springs. As always, we’ve been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, and we’ve got some changes to share with you.
