Can you believe it’s almost summer? Memorial Day weekend is here, after all, and that’s usually the start of summer for so many, including us in Disney World.

Now, this summer is bringing a LOT of cool things to Disney World, including Cool Kids Summer, as well as a new Muppets ride, a new version of Soarin’ (which opened early!), and so much more. TWO Disney World Spots Reopened Early This Week!

Whew! It’s been quite the busy week in Disney World, but we can say with certainty that a lot of them are really good updates that we love to see!

The resort’s second water park has officially reopened to guests for the summer, and we’re thrilled that not one, but TWO locations opened earlier than originally scheduled, so guests can enjoy both of their offerings. Say What? Over 30 NEW Foods and Drinks Came To Disney World This Week!

We’ve had an interesting week in Disney World, although granted, EVERY week is pretty interesting when you spend it at Disney World.

Sweet Potato Ice Cream Sandwich

First, we tried a sweet potato ice cream sandwich, then we watched lines get longer and longer for a NEW viral snack in Disney’s Animal Kingdom (and we get it, because that snack is AMAZING), and we found out that Refreshment Port in EPCOT is being reimagined into La Poutinerie and will now be hosted by Air Canada. A LOT going on. Well, we also saw some changes happening on Disney World restaurant menus, so we’re going to break those down for you now.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom

A Magic Kingdom ride officially reopened this past week, and we got the official reopening date for another! As if that wasn’t enough, we also got a big update about a long-closed spot in EPCOT, and, while it’s not as joyous, we also know about another pool closure coming to a popular hotel. MASTER LIST of All Closures in Disney World This Week

For the first time in what feels like forever, Disney didn’t have any major closures or massive changes happen in the past week, and there aren’t a number of them lined up for this week either!

A closure is hitting Disney Springs this week!

Now, three out of the four parks are still majorly under construction, meaning there are walls practically everywhere, and this week, one store is closing in Disney Springs, but it feels like we’re officially towards reopenings versus closures, which is a HUGE achievement.
