And now we have even more swanky news! Disney World Cast Members can receive a discount to the event.
Drinks, food, and fun for the wee hours? Where do we sign up?
We could spend the entire day in Disney Springs if we could, not even kidding. There are so many sights to see, performers to listen to, and places to shop. While we love all of those activities (with a passion), our favorite thing to do is eat the fantastic food you can find in the restaurants located there. That’s why spending happy hour, then a late night at The Edison seems like the perfect way to end the day.
It’s time for another What’s New in Disney Springs, everybody, and we have so much to tell you about! New menus, Minnie Ears Ornaments, and The Lion King lattes are just the beginning of our list. Let’s dive right in to see what Disney Springs has to offer!
Food Update at Disney Springs
The Lion King had its opening premier in theaters this weekend, and there’s no better way of celebrating than with a few themed treats!
At Wolfgang Puck‘s quick-service window, we spotted the adorable sugar Lion Paw Cookie for $5 and the Grub Jar for $7.50. Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba would definitely approve (except they’d want more bugs in their Grub Jars)!

Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month is returning once again for 2019! Sponsored by Visit Orlando, this annual event begins August 23 and runs through September 30th. Magical Dining Month offers Orlando locals and guests the chance to enjoy the Orlando culinary scene at significant savings: $35 for three courses at participating area restaurants. Over 100 restaurants will be offering the prix fixe dinners, which include appetizer, entree, and dessert.
In keeping with tradition, one dollar from each meal goes to support local charities. Best Buddies and Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida were the two charities for 2018, and the charities for this year’s program will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Edison at Disney Springs is a great place to kick back with a drink like the Boiler Mule Cocktail — or to alternately snack AND be weirded out with a delicious (though expensive) piece of their Clothesline Candied Bacon.
But, lately, this location has been stepping up their burger game thanks to their burgers of the month. With previous options like the BBQ Tavern Burger and The Mozzarella Madness Burger, we’re always excited to see what they’re going to come up with next.
Last month, the clean buy-out of Impossible “meat” by a chain restaurant meant that the Impossible burger of the month was a wash-out at the Edison; but they’re coming in strong in July with a brand new option… .
