If you’ve ever been to the Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, you know that the artwork they create there is the tasty art that dances on your taste buds. There are so many options around Disney World to find a sweet treat, but this place has TONS to offer. Which is why we grabbed FIVE desserts from here!
This week was certainly a big one for Disneyland Resort, with tons of announcements around Oogie Boogie Bash, which kinda stuck Disney World in the backseat. Though after weeks in a row of TONS of news and changes, we think it deserves a little break.

That’s not to say that things didn’t still HAPPEN in Disney World, because they absolutely did. Not only did one construction project FINALLY finish up after months, but we also got new sneak peeks of TWO of the new lands on their way!
It’s been a year of construction at Disney World, and we’re not talking just about the four parks, but tons of Disney World Resort hotels as well!
Treehouse Villa
One of the projects we’ve been following in particular is over at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, which has some of Disney World’s most unique and cool hotel rooms, the Treehouse Villas! The villas are massive and can house a big party on vacation. That being said, Disney (and we) knew it was time for a renovation. Well, after some time of refurbishment, Disney Imagineering shared a look inside the NEW Treehouse Villas!
Whew! It’s been quite the busy week in Disney World, but we can say with certainty that a lot of them are really good updates that we love to see!
Typhoon Lagoon
The resort’s second water park has officially reopened to guests for the summer, and we’re thrilled that not one, but TWO locations opened earlier than originally scheduled, so guests can enjoy both of their offerings. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, though, so let’s dive into ALL the construction changes that happened this week, and what you’ll want to watch out for on your vacation.
Disney World discounts are not always created equal.
Do you use Meta glasses?
Sometimes Disney says “discount,” and what they mean is “Congratulations, you have saved enough money to buy one pretzel and maybe emotionally recover.” Other times, Disney drops a hotel deal that actually makes us sit up, grab the calculator, and start whispering dangerous things like, “Wait…should we go?”
This is one of those times.
It’s not uncommon to see closures in Disney World, so that rides, stores, hotels, or restaurants have time to refurbish and refresh.

A little while back, we learned that two hotel restaurants would be closing for a few months each to undergo some refurbishment. But now, the dates of those closures have changed!
We’ve had a VERY busy week, and most of it didn’t even happen in Disney World. After we spent some time on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure, we made our way to France this week to get a sneak peek at Disney Adventure World in Disneyland Paris.

So we’ve been eating food ALL over the world these past few weeks. But don’t worry…we’ll never forget about our beloved Disney World restaurants. We’re still keeping track of Disney World restaurant menu changes, and we’re going to outline all the changes that happened this week.

There are Disney World hotel rooms people rave about, like they personally descended from the heavens on a cloud of pixie dust and refillable mug coffee.

And look, some of them are lovely. But “lovely” and “worth that price” are not always the same thing.
