We’ve Been to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival 17 Years in a Row. There Have Been Some BIG Changes!

There are certain things we can count on every year. Florida will be insanely humid. Someone will underestimate how filling “just a few small plates” can be. The Canada booth will develop a line. And the Disney Food Blog team will arrive at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival prepared to eat an absolutely unreasonable amount of food in the name of journalism.

ALERT: The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Is Getting Another Food Booth

EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival kicked off at the end of August, and we were there to try all of the booths and offerings, old and new. However, just because opening day has passed doesn’t mean we’ve seen everything EPCOT’s premier annual event has to offer, as there’s still MORE to come.

Hit or Miss: We Tried All 30 “Reimagined” Menu Items at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival

Thirty years is a long time to be feeding EPCOT. Over three decades, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has given us dishes we still think about, dishes Disney has wisely brought back again and again, and a few things that probably deserved to remain a blurry photo in an old Festival Passport.

For the Festival’s 30th anniversary, Disney decided to crack open the archives. There are 30 special Legacy Items scattered around the 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, with dishes either returning from previous festivals or getting reimagined for 2026. Naturally, we tried them. And after working our way through the ones released so far, one thing became pretty clear. Nostalgia can get a dish back onto the menu, but that doesn’t mean we’re gonna like it.

REVIEW: This EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Breakfast Got More Expensive and Less Boozy

We’ll admit that when it comes to breakfasts in Disney World, we’re more the type of people who will grab a quick breakfast sandwich or pastry and a coffee so that we have just enough fuel to hit the ground running when we make it to the parks. Now, of course, we do occasionally enjoy a character breakfast, but we’re there more for the characters than the food.

However, there’s one limited-time breakfast buffet in Disney World that we always make time for, although it’s pricey and can take up some valuable park time. However, we’ll always make a beeline to Chefs de France for the Parisian Breakfast that happens there during the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Now, a few things have changed about this breakfast this year, so does it still meet our high standards, and is it worth it? Let’s find out.

Here’s Exactly How We Cover All 30+ EPCOT Food and Wine Booths in a Single Day

Every year, thousands of people walk into the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival with a beautiful, reasonable goal: eat a few things, drink something fun, maybe complete a cheese crawl, and make it back to Spaceship Earth without needing to loosen their waistband. We are not those people.

On opening day, the DFB team arrives at EPCOT with phones charged, portable batteries packed, assignments made, spreadsheets open, food trays ready, and the collective determination to eat, photograph, film, review, and document essentially the ENTIRE festival. And then, while our reporters are sprinting around World Showcase carrying six plates and a rapidly melting dessert, there’s another team at home downloading photos, editing video, writing reviews, updating pages, building social posts, and sending increasingly frantic messages asking, “DID THE CHEESE PHOTO UPLOAD?”
