We are always down for a trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Not only do you get spectacular views of the savanna, but it is also home to some of our favorite restaurants!
We love our Loungeflys here at DFB, and we also love finding great deals.
Today, we found a GREAT online deal on ten Disney Loungeflys! We think it might be time to buy a few more — you know, just in case.
We love Disney’s Animal Kingdom because it’s not like any other theme park we’ve ever been to.
You’ve got immersive lands like Pandora from the Avatar movies, a ride up to visit a Yeti on Mount Everest, and a whole land dedicated to dinosaurs (although that’s going to change soon). However, we think Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of our favorite rides in Animal Kingdom because it’s about as close to going on a REAL African safari as you can get. However, there are some rules you need to follow when you ride it including one VERY important rule.
Did you know that Disney World does a LOT for animals?
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to around 300 different species of animals, and Cast Members constantly educate us about those animals. But did you know that Disney is also at the forefront of conservation efforts, as well as animal breeding efforts? Well, we’ve got some BIG — and happy — news about the latter. A new baby elephant has been born at the park!
One of our favorite parts about visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting to see all the animals and watching them interact with the things in their area.
Whether we’re on the safari, walking through one of the two walking trails, or just exploring the parks– there is so much animal activity to be seen. We could talk all day about the unique animal experiences that the park has to offer, but we’ll save that for another day. We just saw some of the cutest — and most festive — animal enrichment activities happening in DAK, and it is sure to brighten your day. [Read more…]
There’s a lot you need to think about when planning a Disney World vacation.
However, the planning doesn’t end once you’ve arrived in Orlando and get checked into your hotel. You’ll also need to keep an eye on Disney World’s schedule because not all attractions and experiences are open until park close. We realized this today when we were looking at the schedule for a ride in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney World is known for being the Most Magical Place on Earth, but occasionally, something really magical happens.
Actually, it happens pretty frequently — we’re talking about baby animals born in Disney World! You won’t find these babies hiding out at just Animal Kingdom, either. In fact, you won’t believe where some of these events have taken place — and that’s why we’re sharing every adorable baby born in Disney World this year.
So, we talk a LOT about eating in Disney World. We ARE the Disney FOOD Blog, after all.
So yes, we’re going to talk about some of our favorite restaurants, as well as our favorite snacks. We’re also going to tell you about new foods in Disney World, as well as some of the best meals. However, did you know that there are some very special meals in Disney World that you CAN’T have at all?
Sure, Disney Parks are FULL of characters with a LOT of character.
But sometimes the characters we like watching the most aren’t in costumes. Instead, they’re actually animals, doing the unpredictable things animals do. Did we lose our minds when sea urchins at EPCOT wore Mickey hats? Yes, yes, we did. We even recently shared a post about the animals that have been at Animal Kingdom since DAY ONE. Well, now, we have even more animal antics to share with you.
There are certainly some hilarious things that happen in Disney World.
We’ve shared some of our funniest Disney stories with you in the past, as well as some true stories from Disney World guests that will either make you laugh, cry, or cringe. If you’re looking for a laugh today, we’ve got some news out of Animal Kingdom that will hopefully do the trick!
