We are at D23 and just finished the Horizons: A Carousel of Progress presentation, where we got a TON of news, and to our surprise, it included a BIG story that’s coming- or should we say returning- to EPCOT!
It’s almost time — are you ready? We’re talking about the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, which starts SOON!
2024 Festival of the Arts
The festival will run from January 17th through February 24th and will bring a whole artsy vibe to ALL of EPCOT. There will be lots of unique food served at the festival’s many food booths, a Disney on Broadway concert series, chalk art, art performances, and SO much more. However, you might want to know a little bit more about some of the souvenirs you’ll be able to bring home from the festival, so let’s talk about the most IMPORTANT merchandise of this festival: the art!
Thought all of the hype surrounding the Figment Popcorn Bucket was over? Well, the hottest item from this year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Arts just got even cooler!
Figment Popcorn Bucket
When the Festival of the Arts kicked off earlier this year, all eyes were on the Figment Popcorn Bucket. This small but mighty souvenir drew a line that topped six hours(!!) on the first day of the festival. The popcorn bucket saga got truly wild, with buckets reselling for HUNDREDS of dollars online. There was even a drawing of the must-have item that got a ton of hype!

As much as we love Disney World, not everything that they try to pull off in the parks is a slam dunk.
Some things don’t go over as great as Disney hoped they would.
We’ve seen some interesting ride ideas, some weird snacks, and a ton of things that just made us scratch our heads (Donald Duck being replaced by a hat-wearing plant, anyone?). Today we’re breaking down the times that Disney World tried to do something interesting and it didn’t go quite as planned. Hey, we’re still giving them an ‘A’ for effort!
