Rides have been getting touch-ups, hotel rooms have been getting makeovers, and paint jobs have seen updates all around the resort. But one attraction was closed for a very specific reason — a new president has been added to Magic Kingdom’s Hall of Presidents.
We’ve been counting down the days until Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort officially reopens.
In the meantime, we’ve been checking out all the other reopenings at the resort, including Oasis Bar and Grill, ‘Ohana (for breakfast AND dinner), and Kona Island (did someone say candied bacon?). But we’ve been impatiently waiting for a chance to check out the new Moana-themed rooms at the hotel.
A LOT is going on at Disneyland, and things there have certainly been full speed ahead since the resort’s reopening.
We’ve seen the end of temperature checks, the end of mask requirements for guests in most situations, and the return of entertainment and fireworks. We were there when Avengers Campus opened and when the Disneyland Hotel reopened. And we’ll be there when some restaurants reopen soon, too!
There are a lot of changes happening with the new story being unveiled with Disney World’s Jungle Cruise.
And the crazy thing is that Disney didn’t even close the ride to make the new changes — the ride updates have been happening bit by bit every day. We’ve had a lot of fun spotting all the new stuff every time we ride it! We’re excited to see the new characters, new scenes, more backstory, and everything else!
