Disney just filed six Notice of Commencement permits that could impact your next Disney World trip. These permits could mean refurbishments are headed to popular Disney World spots!
With all of the construction that has taken place at Disney World this year, it feels like we’ve been seeing permits pop up constantly. From refurbishments to rethemes to upcoming projects, a lot is going on!

Disney World has recently filed not one, not two, but SIX new permits across the parks and resorts. We’re bringing you a full roundup so you can be up to speed on everything that’s going on!
When we’re at Disney World, some of our favorite things to do are ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Hollywood Studios, mourn the Galactic Starcruiser in Galaxy’s Edge, ride EPCOT‘s iconic golf ball Spaceship Earth, and even hop on over to Animal Kingdom to get a sneak peek of the new Tropical Americas land.

But we might have to change our plans for our next park day, because Disney just filed new construction permits for Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, AND EPCOT!

Disney just filed new Notice of Commencement permits to install signs at six popular Disney World resorts. While these signs are usually quick, overnight projects, it’s always important to make sure you’re aware during your stay!

If you’re planning a magical vacation soon, you might spot some construction happening, because Disney just filed construction permits for five hotels!
When we’re at EPCOT, we love stopping by CommuniCore Hall and Plaza. Where else can you grab a snack, sing along to Encanto, and meet Mickey Mouse all in one place?

When we’re at EPCOT, we love stopping by the BoardWalk for great food, fun entertainment, and stunning lake views. But lately, the BoardWalk has been plagued by construction between Jellyrolls, the mysterious Project Amazon, and Project Bubbles!

The upcoming Tropical Americas land has been in development for several years, and we’ve been following it every step of the way. Now, Disney has filed a NEW permit for changes coming to the land, and parents are going to be very happy with this one.
Recently, Disney has announced new lands, attractions, and entertainment headed to the theme parks, new ships coming to the Disney Cruise Line, and so much more. But what about those projects that Disney hasn’t exactly announced yet?

There are so many cool things coming to Disney World between Magic Kingdom’s Piston Peak and Villains Land, Hollywood Studios’ Monstropolis, and Animal Kingdom’s Tropical Americas. Disney has been making progress on all of them, but the progress on Tropical Americas has been most impressive, and it continues to show after Disney just filed nine…yes, NINE permits!
