If you’re staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge soon, you might notice some things have changed about the rooms!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge fully reopened a few days ago and with it, we got a chance to check out the newly renovated rooms at the resort! Now, we’re doing an in-depth tour of the new and improved Wilderness-inspired digs!
There’s LOTS going on at Disney World’s hotels lately!
Disney’s Beach Club Resort recently (fully) reopened, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting a huge makeover, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort will see some changes! And over at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge (which officially reopened TODAY!), we’re taking a peek at some refurbished rooms.
It’s a BIG day for Disney hotels!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has officially reopened! The Disney Vacation Club villas reopened here wayyy back in 2020, along with some shopping and dining options, but the resort as a whole has remained shuttered. Now, non-DVC rooms are OPEN and available for booking! So of course, we had to bring ya along to take a peek inside.
If you’re planning to visit Disney World in June you might be wondering, “will anything be different when I go?” And the answer to that is “YES!” A Disney World hotel will be reopening, a popular ride will be going down for refurbishment, and a few other things will be changing. Today we’re breaking down our list of the 5 things that will be different in June to help you prepare for your upcoming trips!
We’re getting closer and closer to the official start of SUMMER, and that means today is the perfect time to plan your summer vacation to Disney World, and we have details on some great DEALS and DISCOUNTS!

LOTS of changes are coming to Disney World.
2021 is a big year for the parks! Not only is it Disney World’s 50th anniversary, but the property is continuing with its phased reopening since its closure in 2020. That means we’re seeing some things opening for the first time (like the brand-new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT!), but other things are reopening.
When the parks and resorts reopened last year at Walt Disney World, we saw a lot of changes due to health and safety!
Disney added a face mask requirement and temperature checks. We saw updated security procedures and physical distancing markers everywhere, as well as enhanced cleaning procedures. In addition, we spotted little changes, like the fact that self-serve drink stations were being manned by Cast Members. But now, one of those things may be going back to normal!
We’ve got a cool new find to show ya!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge may be know for its nature theme, but there’s a princess-inspired character meal here, too! While it’s temporarily unavailable, Storybook Dining at Artist Point gives guests the chance to meet Snow White and some of her dwarfs in an Enchanted Forest. And if you’re missing this experience a little extra, we spotted a souvenir to remember it by!
