food IS a theme park
Y’all, we hate to break it to you, but the rumors are not true.
Tower of Terror
You might have seen rumors floating around that Mark Silverman, the voice of Rod Sterling in Disney World’s Tower of Terror, is back at Walt Disney Imagineering working on something. But he’s back for reasons we weren’t hoping for.
We’re counting down the days until we can fulfill our dream and step into the world of Monstropolis, especially as we keep learning about new updates!
Concept art for Monstropolis
Disney Imagineers are still hard at work on the Monsters, Inc. Land that’s coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Monstropolis is going to feature attractions, dining, a show, and plenty of Easter eggs from the films. Now, it looks like the brand-new land could be featuring something for the kiddos. Let’s take a look at what we know so far!
When Disney World announced it was building a Tropical Americas-themed land that included Encanto, I may or may not have shed a tear. Was that tear for the idea of stepping into Casita and meeting the Madrigal family, or for knowing I had to say goodbye to DinoLand U.S.A.? We’ll never know, but Pueblo Esperanza is coming to Animal Kingdom, and we’ll share every update.

The new land is planning to open in 2027, and behind the construction walls, Disney has been hard at work making sure everything gets done. Thanks to our friend Bioreconstruct on X, we get a sense of what’s happening behind those walls, and Disneyis progress is fantastical and magical.
There’s more than meets the eye with this iconic Magic Kingdom restaurant!
Crystal Palace
Located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., in Magic Kingdom, The Crystal Palace is a popular restaurant that features buffet meals, a stunning atmosphere, and visits from Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger as you dine. But the design of this restaurant isn’t just gorgeous — it also serves a hidden purpose that helps drive the detailed storytelling of the park!
A few changes are on the way to Disney World! Some of them are new, and some of them could bring back features we have been missing.
Magic Kingdom entrance
Disney World recently filed a few permits for some new projects, and while we know what some of them are for, we’re left guessing for another. We have all the information for you, so let’s dive into what’s coming and what’s possibly on the way!
As massive Disney Parks fans, we are in awe of what Disney Imagineering is doing at Disney World!
Imagineering Pavilion at D23
Recently, at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney Imagineering shared a ton of the projects they’re working on for Disney Parks and Experiences across the world. From models on the show floor to the Horizons panel, there was a lot of awesome stuff to see. Well, now there is even MORE to see!
Indiana Jones has found another ancient temple, and we are absolutely going inside.

Disney just dropped a mountain of new information about the Indiana Jones attraction coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, including its official name, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, a MUCH clearer explanation of the story, a first look at its enormous supernatural villain, and one very important update about the Indiana Jones Audio-Animatronic.
Disney just showed us the ride vehicles for its upcoming Encanto attraction in Animal Kingdom, and we have questions. Specifically: Haven’t we seen something a LOT like these before?

At D23, Disney finally revealed more details about Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, the major family attraction coming to Pueblo Esperanza in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We learned its official name, got new concept art, saw some of the animals that will appear inside, and got our first real look at the vehicles that will carry guests through Casita. And those vehicles look awfully familiar.
Disney World has already asked us to eat dinner inside a castle, board an elevator to a restaurant in space, and consume burgers while sitting in a fake convertible beneath a fake night sky. So I don’t think I’m being unreasonable when I ask Disney to let me eat breakfast with a tow truck.
Art of Animation Cars Section
Piston Peak National Park is currently under construction in Magic Kingdom, and the new Cars-themed area is shaping up to be one of the park’s most ambitious additions. Disney has shared concept art filled with towering mountains, rushing water, pine forests, geysers, and rustic buildings tucked into the landscape. It looks beautiful. It looks enormous. It also looks like it has room for the weirdest character restaurant Disney has ever attempted. A Cars character dining experience makes absolutely no logistical sense, which is exactly why Disney needs to make it happen.
It’s been a bit of a rocky world when it comes to Disney and AI, especially after Disney pulled out of their deal with OpenAI following the company’s shutdown of Sora.

The deal between Disney and OpenAI included a $1 billion investment in OpenAI, but now that that has fallen through, Disney has been thinking of other ways to make use of AI regarding their IP. Now, there’s been an update in the saga, as Disney has begun using Adobe’s Firefly Foundry, which is the commercial version of Adobe’s AI model.
