At Disneyland Park in California, a NEW ride has recently opened — Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Nothing Can Stop Us Now!
Though the ride had been open for a while in Disney World, it is new to the Disneyland scene. We’ve already shared all kinds of easter eggs you can find on the ride, but to get on the ride you’ll either need to grab a virtual queue boarding group or pay for an Individual Lightning Lane. Soon, however, things will change!
January 27th is a big day for Disney fans!

The Walt Disney Company is kicking off celebrations for its 100th anniversary on that day, and most of the party will take place at Disneyland Resort. Splash Mountain will soon be getting a makeover, a new restaurant is coming, and Mickey’s Toontown is being reimagined. While the reimagined land needs a little more time to be fully completed, a new attraction is opening soon in the land — Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway! And, we just found out more about what you can expect from the ride when it opens.
It can be easy to get caught up in the more negative things about Disney World right now, like the large crowds, price increases, and more. But, we’re here to remind you that there IS still magic happening in the parks, people!

For some people, getting evacuated from a Disney World ride can absolutely ruin the day, especially if you’ve got a dining reservation to make, you waited in the queue for an extended period of time, or it’s your first time experiencing the attraction. However, for other people…it’s a dream come true! You get the chance to see a little behind-the-scenes action, and it can honestly be pretty fascinating. Recently, we got evacuated off of one of Disney World’s newest rides, and we thought you might want to see what it’s like!

Earlier this year, Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the Fab Five FINALLY got their FIRST ride-through attraction with Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Hollywood Studios and now you can ride along from home! Disney has been bringing us on all kinds of attraction ride thru adventures including Expedition Everest, Big Thunder Mountain, Slinky Dog Dash, and more!
It’s only August, but we’re already getting ready for 2021.
