At Disneyland Park in California, a NEW ride has recently opened — Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Though the ride had been open for a while in Disney World, it is new to the Disneyland scene. We’ve already shared all kinds of easter eggs you can find on the ride, but to get on the ride you’ll either need to grab a virtual queue boarding group or pay for an Individual Lightning Lane. Soon, however, things will change!
According to Scott Gustin, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Disneyland will NOT be available via virtual queue tomorrow, February 22nd. Instead, it’ll have a regular standby queue for guests to wait in. The Individual Lightning Lane, however, will continue to be available.

How will you know on any given day if the virtual queue is being used? Check the Disneyland app! If you look at the ride there, you’ll see whether a virtual queue is in use. For example, this is what it looks like for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway today (virtual queue in use)…
…versus WEB Slingers (no virtual queue in use today).
Again, because the use of the virtual queue can vary by date, just be sure to check on the day of your trip. And stay tuned for more Disney news.
