The Disneyland Resort Theme Park Reservation System is an online tool that allows guests to make reservations to visit the two Disneyland Resort theme parks: Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure.
Originally introduced as part of new safety measures to limit guest capacity upon the reopening of the parks on April 30, 2021, the Disneyland Theme Park Reservation System enables guests with valid theme park admission to make the required reservations to enter a theme park.
Guests ages 3 and up need both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date to enter the park.

Park Reservation Eligibility
The Theme Park Reservation System is open to guests with valid theme park admission.
Disneyland Resort Magic Key Annual Pass holders may hold a certain number of reservation dates based on the level of their Pass, as follows:
- Dream and Believe Key Holders may hold up to 6 Park Pass reservations at a time.
- Enchant Key Holders may hold up to 4 Park Pass reservations at a time.
- Imagine Key Holders may hold up to 2 Park Pass reservations at a time.

Please note that guests with valid theme park admission who are staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel also need to book theme park reservations in advance.
Disney Park Pass System Step-By-Step
Disney has provided the following steps-at-a-glance for this new system, and you can begin by following this link to start the process. You’ll have to log in to your free Disney account, where your tickets should be linked (if you’ve already purchased them).
And we’ve been through the process ourselves, to provide you a complete How-To!

For guests who HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED A VALID TICKET:
If you have already purchased a ticket, but haven’t made reservations yet, you can also head to the Disneyland Park Reservations page on the Disneyland website and select “Book Theme Park Reservation” after logging in to your account. You’ll then create a reservation using the steps below, as Disney has laid out instructions for how to use this perk online.
For guests who NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET:
If you need to purchase a ticket and make a theme park reservation at the same time, start by going to the Disneyland Park Reservation website and hit “Select Ticket”. You’ll then select the days, number of tickets you need, and ticket type as usual when buying tickets.
After that, you’ll make your theme park reservation by choosing the date and park. Park hoppers will want to choose the park they will start their day in. To finish, you’ll review your choices and hit purchase! Disney has also laid out instructions for how to use this perk online.

Note that reservations may be made up to 180 days out from your visit. And remember, dates and theme parks are limited and subject to availability.
You can also modify an existing Park Pass reservation up to the day of your reservation before entering the park. You may change either the park or date associated with a theme park reservation on the Disneyland website WITHOUT having to cancel the reservation first. (Be aware that Magic Key holders have a one-day modification window.)
Checking Park Availability
Here is a handy additional feature: guests are able to view park availability before making their reservation… and even prior to purchasing tickets!
The availability calendar is posted for viewing on the Disneyland website.
Guests will want to consider the type of tickets they have or plan to purchase (1 Park Per Day tickets or Park Hopper Tickets), noting the key to see if One or Both Parks are available or if no parks are available.
