Pixar Pier opened on July 23, 2018 at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort!
Pixar Pier — the result of an entire transformation of Paradise Pier — is made up of four neighborhoods representing Pixar stories: Incredibles Park, Inside Out Headquarters and Toy Story Boardwalk each have their own themed neighborhoods. Several different Pixar stories and characters are represented in the fourth neighborhood, the Pixar Promenade.
There is so much fun in store with all our favorite Pixar pals!
Pixar Pier Attractions and Games
The highlight of Incredibles Park is the Incredicoaster (a transformation of the former California Screamin’ attraction).
You can check out our FULL RIDE-THROUGH on our DFB YouTube Video!
And Mickey’s Fun Wheel has been transformed into the Pixar Pal-A-Round on the Pixar Promenade!
While Mickey’s mug is still featured on the Paradise Bay side of the wheel, the gondolas now display various pairs of Pixar pals.
A family-friendly ride by the name of Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind opened in the Inside Out Headquarters neighborhood in June 2019.
And guests can also saddle up on Jessie’s Critter Carousel on the Toy Story Boardwalk!
Jessie’s critter pals from Toy Story 2 (you’ll remember them from “Woody’s Roundup”) are featured on the carousel. These 56 friends include a turtle, snake, buzzard, ram, skunk, raccoon, and more (like two cozy logs that a family of owls calls their home).
These attractions all joined the existing — and beloved — Toy Story Midway Mania.
The Games of the Boardwalk have also been re-themed with Pixar characters. Choose from Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss, Wall-E Space Race, La Luna Star Catcher and Bullseye Stallion Stampede.
Pixar Pier Dining and Restaurants
The Lobster Nachos are served alongside more California gastro-pub cuisine with items like Crispy Piggy Wings and Carne Asada Rolls.
Signature cocktails are unique to the spot, with names reflecting the film industry and Pixar Film Studios.
The bar boasts, of course, beautiful waterfront views from upstairs, including awesome views of the World of Color nighttime spectacular.
The downstairs (which seats 261 guests) serves full-size entrees, while shareable options primarily set the culinary scene upstairs.
The space reflects the “creativity, inspirations and personalities of the artists and storytellers who have brought Pixar stories to life.”
Look for artistic marks left by the Pixar “regulars” throughout the space, such as concept art, sketched-upon napkins and coasters, collectable toys of Pixar characters, and more.
Inspired by Pixar’s short, “Toy Story Toon: Small Fry,” the Poultry Palace “building” is a giant fun meal.
Señor Buzz Churros
Buzz Lightyear has switched into Spanish mode and is serving up Churros at Señor Buzz Churros, also on Toy Story Boardwalk!
Look for classic Cinnamon and a Caliente Churro among the options.
Anger from Inside Out can be spotted at this kiosk on the Pixar Promenade which serves up hot dogs. It’s Angry Dogs!
But watch out — he turns up the heat on those dogs the angrier he gets!
Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats
The old Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co. is now known as Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats and still offers icy, sweet treats…but this time there is a signature soft-serve item on the menu, which is basically Lemon Dole Whip! Additional fun and frosty treats are also on the menu.
Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums
Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums serves HUGE warm chocolate chip cookies.
I mean, REALLY… just LOOK!
Better yet… just TASTE!
Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery
What’s a pier without CANDY?!
Find it on Pixar Pier at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, which serves candy, bakery confections, and other standard Disney candy shop items along with some exclusive themed offerings, like Memory Refresher frozen drinks!
“Who’s your friend who likes to play?”
Why, it’s BING BONG!
And don’t forget that you can stop by Knick Knacks to pick up your Pixar-inspired souvenirs!
