FIRST LOOK Inside a NEW Disney Store Open Now!

Disneyland is gearing up to go down the bayou with Tiana and all her friends!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to officially open in Bayou Country on November 15th. In order to ride this new attraction, just like Disney World, you will need to obtain a Virtual Queue or purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass. The good news is you will have three attempts to join the Virtual Queue at 7 AM, 12 PM, and now at 4 PM. Along with the new attraction, Bayou Country has two new gift shops, and one of them opened today!

This party on the bayou is a jazz lover’s dream with all the sights, sounds, and smells of New Orleans, and we can’t wait for the Disneyland version to open — which begs the question: when is the Disneyland version of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure going to open? We don’t have an official date just yet, but this latest announcement makes us think it could be pretty soon!

There are several different moderate hotels on property, but whenever we’ve asked for our readers’ top picks, they always go back to Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts — both French Quarter and Riverside. French Quarter might get a lot of the attention (probably because of the lively atmosphere and the incredible Mickey beignets), but Riverside has an elegant charm and a TON of outdoor amenities. We have been keeping up with all the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure construction and announcements.

We go to Disney World every day, and it’s pretty hard to miss this new ride. So when we notice some changes, we’re ready to tell you about them! We know that the ride in Magic Kingdom will be opening sometime this summer (the Disneyland version will open “later in 2024”), but we don’t know exactly what day. Every time we see more details added, more scaffolding down, or the ride being tested, we know that it can’t be too far away. Now, we have a few new updates that we’ve noticed in the past few days!

Magic Kingdom has A LOT going on right now! We are expecting lots of new things including a new Country Bear show called Country Bear Musical Jamboree and a new smelling experience coming to Storybook Circus. 

We noticed something missing from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!

And, of course, we’ve got Tiana’s Bayou Adventure coming right up! However, we noticed that Disney World has changed something major between the original concept art and today for this attraction…let’s take a look.
