Disney World has already asked us to eat dinner inside a castle, board an elevator to a restaurant in space, and consume burgers while sitting in a fake convertible beneath a fake night sky. So I don’t think I’m being unreasonable when I ask Disney to let me eat breakfast with a tow truck.
Piston Peak National Park is currently under construction in Magic Kingdom, and the new Cars-themed area is shaping up to be one of the park’s most ambitious additions. Disney has shared concept art filled with towering mountains, rushing water, pine forests, geysers, and rustic buildings tucked into the landscape. It looks beautiful. It looks enormous. It also looks like it has room for the weirdest character restaurant Disney has ever attempted. A Cars character dining experience makes absolutely no logistical sense, which is exactly why Disney needs to make it happen.
