Will you be visiting Disneyland in 2024?
If so, in case you haven’t already heard, you’ll need to know that a fan-favorite Disney California Adventure attraction is temporarily CLOSED for refurbishment!
Disney is wasting no time getting to work on its latest project!
Country Bear Jamboree is changing in a huge way in Magic Kingdom — Disney Imagineers are updating the show with âan all-new act.â The bears are going to be singing Disney songs in NEW styles, like pop country, rockabilly, and bluegrass! The attraction officially closed its doors on January 27th, and now we’ve got our first signs that work is taking place.
Preparing for your next Disney World trip is no easy feat.
Between booking your hotel, deciding which parks to visit, which restaurants to eat at, and which rides you’re going on — it can be a lot to keep up with. Throw a ride closure into the mix and you’ve got even more to plan for. If you’re heading to Disney World later this year, we’ve got another ride closure to warn you about!
The start of the 2024 year is bringing about lots of CHANGES to Disney World and it seems that rides are no exception.
We already knew that Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster is getting ready to close for a longer refurbishment expected to last through Summer, as well as a few other rides. Now, we’ve got another ride to talk about that will also be ready for a refurbishment over the next few days. [Read more…]
It’s been a pretty big year for Disney World closures.
We said goodbye to Splash Mountain, the Galactic Starcruiser Hotel, Harmonious, Tokyo Dining, and more, but there were some attractions and restaurants we still weren’t sure about. Disney hadn’t made any sort of announcements about these spots for quite some time — but now we have an official answer about one!
Disney World is always thinking up ways to keep things new and interesting in the parks.
But sometimes, that means we have to say goodbye to some of our favorite attractions. Whether it’s permanent or temporary, nothing stings worse than getting to the park only to realize that the ride you’ve been dreaming about is closed. And if you’ve got a trip to EPCOT planned, there’s an upcoming closure you need to know about.
Temporary ride and attraction closures at Disney World are totally normal, and happen more often than you might think!
And no, they don’t mean that the rides are breaking down. Usually, these planned closures are for routine upkeep and maintenance so that the rides can run like new for years to come! Last week, we found out that a closure would take place in Magic Kingdom so that a fan-favorite attraction can be refurbished. Now, that ride is officially closed!Â
We’ve got some bad news for fans of Disney’s Haunted Mansion ride!
Haunted Mansion is a popular ride in both Magic Kingdom (in Disney World) and Disneyland Park. Over on the east coast, this attraction is going to be CLOSED temporarily for part of August! Make sure you take note of this closure so that you’re not disappointed during your upcoming trip. [Read more…]
So you’ve made all your plans for your Disney World trip, and you finally arrive and you think you’ve prepared yourself for any kind of situation.
You know that there are sometimes transportation issues, that rides sometimes close, and that rides sometimes even malfunction. There might be ONE ride issue you’re not prepared for, but you’ll need to know about it, especially if you’ve planned to ride it later in the day.
Want to visit EPCOT with shorter lines and smaller crowds? Extended Evening Hours might be a great option for you, but you’ll want to be CAREFUL.
This special perk lets guests at Disney World Deluxe Hotels and Deluxe Villas (as well as a few other qualifying spots) stay LATE in select parks (usually Magic Kingdom or EPCOT) on certain nights after the regular park guests have left for the day. During those bonus hours, certain rides stay open, giving you the chance to hop on popular attractions like Frozen Ever After or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with much shorter waits. But there is a big complication you’ll want to be aware of before going to these events.
