FIGMENT!!!!!!
We are at D23 and just finished the Horizons: A Carousel of Progress presentation, where we got a TON of news, and to our surprise, it included a BIG story that’s coming- or should we say returning- to EPCOT!
Don’t worry — our beloved dragon, Figment, isn’t going anywhere! Instead, he will be reunited with Dreamfinder! Dreams really do come true.

“We are taking a new journey into imagination at EPCOT with Dreamfinder and Figment!” Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum shared. “I’m so happy to share this news tonight. We know how important this is to you. We’ve heard you, and this is one more way we’re putting you in the center of everything we do.”
Figment has been at EPCOT since 1983, when the first Journey into Imagination opened. While the attraction has been through a few different versions over the years, Figment has been a staple in the park. But before there was Figment, there was Dreamfinder — the whimsical dream-chaser who helped bring imagination to life. Introduced in the original Journey Into Imagination attraction, Dreamfinder guided guests in “collecting sounds, colors, ideas, anything that sparks the imagination.”

Until 1998, Dreamfinder was part of the attraction, and he will soon return! Disney has not shared many details yet, such as a timeline, but we are excited to see where this will take us! Stay tuned to DFB as we share all of the breaking news coming out of D23!

His removal is one of those things you get used to but never really accept.
