It’s time for EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts! Whether you’re looking for delicious food, beautiful art, or show-stopping performances, there’s a TON to see and do at this festival.
Before we can even BEGIN to take in all of the sights, sounds, and tastes of the festival, we have a very important item to cross off our list: checking out the new Figment popcorn bucket!
Just for the Festival of the Arts, Disney has released a brand-new Figment Popcorn Bucket! The lovable purple dragon (who’s also the festival’s mascot!) finally got his own souvenir popcorn bucket that puts the “fun” in functional! And let’s just say: the Figment fans were out in FULL force this morning with an HOURS long wait for Pop Eats. In fact, one Cast Member estimated that the line had grown to a six and a half hour wait! That’s almost 400 minutes for a popcorn bucket!
This popcorn bucket is priced at $25 (with a purchase limit of 2 Figments per person) at the Pop Eats! Booth, which is located in the World Showcase Plaza (the entrance to World Showcase right in between the Mexico and Canada Pavilions). We hopped in line at 9:30AM, and by 10:40AM we had secured one imaginative purple dragon popcorn bucket! But the wait was WELL worth it:
Come on!! How CUTE is this little guy?
Even the strap is covered with pictures of Figment, along with the 50th Anniversary Celebration logo:
As adorable as this popcorn bucket is on its own, the REAL treat can be found inside: it comes with RAINBOW POPCORN! The popcorn comes in a separate bag sealed with a Figment sticker at the time of purchase.
If you can brave those mega-long lines, be sure to grab this popcorn bucket ASAP, because it’s sure to sell out very quickly (I mean, who doesn’t love Figment?).
We could stare at this little purple dragon all day, but we have some festival booths to get to!
Okay, one more picture for the road:

So you got in line 9:30 and waited a little over an hour. How come other visitors can get early admission but at 10:30 and probably wait much longer since I guess the people doing these blogs and reviews of the festival were allowed in first.
We went to EPCOT on Monday (the 17th). Got in line at 11:25 and an hour and ten minutes later had our Figment popcorn bucket. He’s adorable and I didn’t mind the hour wait to get him (no worse than some rides).
I wish they would sell them on line as I cannot get to WDW. There are several of them that I would like to have. Even if they are the old left over ones.
