The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers can be found right next to the Cake Bake Shop Restaurant. It has been controversial among Disney fans — mostly for their massive cake slices that are $22 a piece! With that price tag, you want to make sure you’re going to love it.

We’re BACK at one of our favorite spots on Disney’s BoardWalk, because yes, there’s ANOTHER new menu item, and you know we had to head there to try it out immediately.

The Cake Bake Shop may be pricey, but wow, are those cake slices and other treats from the bakery absolutely divine. That’s not even touching on the actual restaurant side, which also ranks very high for us, but we love how accessible the bakery is. If you want a sweet treat that will take you right back to your childhood, look no further than this new cake slice.

I Almost Got Locked Out of EPCOT — Here’s What Happened

When it comes to Walt Disney World’s theme parks, EPCOT stands alone as being the only one to feature two entrances: The park’s main entrance in front of Spaceship Earth, and the International Gateway, which sits near the France Pavilion in World Showcase.

While the Gateway has been in place for decades, it was mainly used as an entrance for hotels within walking or boat distance of the back of the park… until 2019. That’s when the Walt Disney World Skyliner opened, allowing guests from Pop Century, Art of Animation, the Riviera Resort, the Caribbean Beach Resort, and Hollywood Studios to enter through the entrance. While that has made traveling to EPCOT more convenient for many guests, it can also lead to some interesting issues… like almost getting locked out of the park and being unable to return to your car!

When you’re looking for a sweet treat in Disney World, one of the best places to go is The Cake Bake Shop on Disney’s BoardWalk.

Did someone call for sweets for breakfast?

Yes, it’s more expensive than other places, and that turns a lot of people away, but in truth, the desserts here we often find are on another level compared to other spots around the resort. When we see that they’ve dropped something new on the menu, we get STOKED, because it sometimes means we get to have cake for breakfast, and we’ll never complain about that. In fact, right now, there’s not just one new item, but THREE, so you know we had to go and try them all out.

The Cake Bake Shop, originally founded in Indiana, currently has a popular location at Disney World’s Boardwalk. This location opened in 2024 and quickly became a fan-favorite stop known for its iconic cake slices and other desserts.
