Walt Disney World’s shopping and dining district, Disney Springs, is hosting the new Flavors of Florida event for the summer of 2019! From now through September 2, 2019, guests can visit 20 dining venues throughout Disney Springs and enjoy Floridian-inspired plates with pairing suggestions for cocktails and brews.
Where to begin? You can pick up a Flavors of Florida map at the Disney Springs Welcome Center or visit any of the participating restaurants as listed below.

If you’re an Annual Passholder, you’ll want to put on your favorite holiday sweater and head to Disney Springs on Saturday, December 8 for the Holiday Sweater Passholder Get Together.
Much of the December Super Saturday event takes place inside the newly reimagined World of Disney. Passholders can enjoy entertainment by holiday carolers, and PhotoPass photographers will be on hand to take photos of all the fun holiday sweaters!

The Christmas season has begun in earnest at Walt Disney World, and even the dinos at T-Rex restaurant in Disney Springs are getting in on the action! That’s right: Santa and Mrs. Claus are hosting a breakfast buffet among the giant lizards, and you can join them!
This perennial event has been held at T-Rex for the past two years, with guests getting their fill of a breakfast buffet that includes such tasty morsels as Mini Pancakes, Omelette and Waffle Stations, and a French toast stack called Dexter’s Delight! (Dexter, you’ll want to know, is the dinosaur mascot of the restaurant!)

Santa Claus and the Mrs. will once again be joining guests for breakfast at T-Rex Cafe this December!
On select mornings throughout the month, you can let the Big Guy know what’s on your holiday wish list (and snap some photos with him and Mrs. Claus!) when you dine at T-Rex Cafe in Disney Springs at a special breakfast buffet known as Breakfast with Santa!
Typically, T-Rex serves Lunch and Dinner, served a la carte. However, on December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, and 17, 2017, a unique buffet will feature items like mini pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, omelets, waffles, Applewood smoked bacon, turkey sausages, biscuits with country gravy, fresh fruit with yogurt, assorted cereals, artisanal breads, Danish pastries, muffins and more.
The price is $32 for adults, and $20.50 for children ages 3-9 (children under age 3 dine for free), excluding tax and gratuity. Seatings start at 8:00, 8:15, and 8:30 AM. Interested guests can make reservations through Disney by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. [Read more…]
