Get ready for the STAR treatment at Disney’s All-Star Resorts: All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, and All-Star Movies!
Walt Disney World offers three Resort hotel levels: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. Disney’s All-Star Resorts are Value Resorts.
You’ll be surrounded by colorful, whimsical, larger-than-life icons themed to your chosen Resort (Sports, Music, or Movies) in addition to reasonably priced rooms, huge food courts with plenty of options, gigantic pools, and much more. So get ready to channel your inner ALL-STAR at Disney’s All-Star Resorts!
Each Resort’s theme of Sports, Music, or Movies is characterized by larger-than-life icons all over the grounds!
It’s well worth strolling the entire Resort (and the neighboring All-Stars) to spot them all! Thanks to the GIGANTIC SIZE of everything…
…it’s not terribly difficult. 😉
… and explore!
All-Star Resort Food Courts
Connected to the lobby and main check-in area in each Resort is the primary dining location. Counter service classics (from a morning Bounty Platter to burgers, pizza, and sandwiches) are served up for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner from a variety of food stations.
Score a great meal at End Zone Food Court at All-Star Sports, stop by Intermission Food Court at All-Star Music for a food break, or walk the red carpet to your meal at World Premiere Food Court at All-Star Movies!
You can also grab a pizza for the whole gang!
All-Star Resort Bars
Each All-Star Resort also features a bar near the main pool.
Of course, you’ll want to grab a souvenir (or ten 😉 ) to remember your Walt Disney World trip, and each All-Star Resort has a spot where you can do exactly that!
Look for Goofy Gifts and Sundries at All-Star Sports, explore Maestro Mickey’s at All-Star Music, and Donald’s Double Feature at All-Star Movies.
You’ll find popular items from around Disney World and even some Resort-specific pieces to remember your All-Star stay.
“SPORTS! MUSIC! MOVIES! REPEAT!”
Guests may reserve a Standard Room, or Preferred Room, for their All-Star stay. While these sleep up to four guests, All-Star Music also offers the option of Family Suites which sleep up to 6 guests!
Please note that our photos here are specific to Standard/Preferred Rooms at All-Star Movies, which come with either a king bed or a queen bed and a queen-size table bed (pictured below). Note that Standard Rooms/Preferred Rooms at All-Star Music and Sports feature two Double Beds.
As we tour the 260 square foot All-Star Movies Standard Room, you’ll see that when folded, the second queen bed has a table with seats for two.
You can pull it down at night to fit your room for four people.
And you’ll notice some no-longer-hidden Disney touches when you do!
A large TV is mounted across from the beds above a dresser with three drawers and one cabinet. The cabinet holds an extra pillow, a bible, and a standard hotel safe.
A small shelving unit features a coffeemaker and a mini-fridge.
The drawer above the mini fridge holds cups, lids, sugar, sweet ‘n low, creamer, coffee stirrers, a tea selection, and Joffrey’s coffee for guests to enjoy.
All-Star Movies offer adjoining rooms so larger parties may book connecting rooms, if needed. That door features a deadbolt, and you’ll find some coat hooks nearby.
The bathroom is in the back of the room behind a sliding door.
The washroom, which is separate from the toilet and shower room, features a bright mirror, a sink, extra toilet paper, a hairdryer, an iron, and an ironing board. There is also a small closet space.
Additionally, the sink comes stocked with hand towels and washcloths, facial soap, and tissues.
There’s a sliding door separating the toilet and shower from the sink area, which is convenient for multiple people getting ready at once. The shower pictured below has a tub and a sliding door.
Inside the shower is a selection of Disney’s shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. These are refillable, reusable bottles.
Amenities and Activities
Make time to take a dip, as each Resort features its own uniquely themed gigantic pool! You’ll find Mickey “conducting” at All-Star Movies’ Fantasia Pool.
Enjoy the tunes at All-Star Music’s Calypso Pool.
And the surf’s always up at the Surfboard Bay Pool at All-Star Sports! Additional pools include the Grand Slam Pool (at Sports), the Duck Pond Pool (at Movies, themed to The Mighty Ducks!), and the Piano Pool (at Music).
A Jogging Trail leads guests on a one-mile route around All-Star Resorts, each Resort features an Arcade, and a playground. And the Front Desk will provide you with information about current Resort Activities which may include options like Movies Under the Stars, Pool Parties, and additional activities for a nominal fee such as Arts and Crafts that you can take home!
You will also see signs alerting to the day’s and week’s activities around the Resort so you don’t miss any of the fun!
Additional amenities for Resort guests also include complimentary Wi-Fi, currency exchange, self-service laundry rooms, mail services, and online check-in.
Disney’s Magical Express
All-Star Resort guests may also utilize Disney’s Magical Express offering complimentary service to and from Orlando International Airport.
This service will be available through December 31, 2021.
MORE Theme Park Hours
Guest staying at Disney’s All-Star Resorts will have access to ADDITIONAL hours in the Disney World theme parks! Early Theme Park Entry will allow guests to enter any of the parks 30 minutes early to get a head start on their day in the parks. This new feature will available starting on October 1, 2021.
This benefit will be available for ANY theme park every day. Please note that guests will need a valid theme park ticket AND a Park Pass reservation for the park they’re planning to visit in order to gain early access.
Disney Genie and Lightning Lanes
Disney Genie will launch in the fall of 2021. This new service — which will be available through the My Disney Experience app — offers both free and optional paid-for features which will help guests maximize their time in the parks. When Disney Genie launches, Individual Attraction Selection will launch in tandem with it.
For guests wishing to ride Disney’s most popular attractions — such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance — without a wait, Individual Attraction Selection will allow guests to select return times to bypass the standby line and instead enter the Lightning Lane for a maximum of two specific, more popular attractions. Individual Attraction Selection is a pay-per-ride option.
All guests will have the ability to buy Individual Attraction Selections. Guests staying offsite will be able to get their first one when the park opens. But those staying at Disney-owned and operated hotels will be able to make their first Individual Attraction Selection at 7AM each day.

Guests have complimentary access to Disney Bus Transportation to and from all four theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.
Another fun perk: guests can walk between all three All-Stars to check out the atmosphere or perhaps visit one of the other food courts, since all three Resorts are connected by walking paths!
No matter which you choose — Sports, Music, or Movies — ENJOY your LARGER-THAN-LIFE stay at Disney’s All-Star Resorts!
