Gaston’s Tavern is a counter service eatery near the Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland, and it’s a tribute to Gaston (placed there by… himself) from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

As guests walk up to Gaston’s Tavern, an enormous outdoor statue showcases this character with a huge ego! The homage to Gaston continues inside the tavern, where an incredible portrait hangs above the fireplace of the French village pub.
Gaston serves up an array of sweet treats, including a Warm Cinnamon Roll.
The signature beverage here? LeFou’s Brew, of course!

You will adore the great Gaston if…
- You’re craving a REALLY GOOD cinnamon roll: This is one of the places in Magic Kingdom to get a LEGENDARY treat! Make sure to ask for extra icing on the side (that’s an AJ-approved snack hack) to really load up on the good stuff. We prefer the cinnamon roll served here at Gaston’s Tavern over the Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll you can find elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and go here!
- You want that Beauty and the Beast theming without the Be Our Guest price tag: We often see The Grey Stuff on the menu here at Gaston’s Tavern, and yes, it’s the iconic Grey Stuff served next door at Be Our Guest! Plus, this restaurant is loaded with details and nods to Beauty and the Beast, making it a fun place to explore.
- You’re sick of cheeseburgers and chicken tenders: Finally! A quick-service menu with some variety! We’ll admit that the menu here is pretty small – you don’t have a lot of options – but the snacks and treats served here are fresh, savory, and unique.
You should ignore Gaston (even though it will hurt his ego) if…
- You want to visit this place after dinner: Sadly, this place tends to close early. Don’t try to come to Gaston’s Tavern for a midnight snack; this is not a late-night establishment.
- You need a reliable place to sit and enjoy your meal: There aren’t a whole lot of tables and chairs at Gaston’s Tavern, so if you are traveling with a large party or prefer a spot where you can sit down and spread out, this is not the place for you.
- You want a full meal: Yes, the snacks here are pretty substantial, but we’re wary of recommending this place if you need a full lunch or dinner. You won’t find a traditional meal, complete with side dishes, at this restaurant. It’s more of a snack spot with small bites and fun little treats.
