Disney World Cast Members are known for their exceptional customer service, helpfulness, and even their creativity!
We’ve seen Cast Members draw Disney characters on the ground with water, make shapes out of salt and pepper packets at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, and more. When we were in Disney’s Hollywood Studios yesterday, we stopped by Tower Hotel Gifts, the gift shop at the end of Tower of Terror, and saw a new bellhop — just not in the way you’re thinking.
When we walked into the gift shop, we were greeted by the store’s newest employee. It would seem that Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas has set her sights on a new career as a bellhop at The Hollywood Tower Hotel.
Cast Member Josh had taken one of the Sally plush toys available at the store and made her look the part of a Cast Member. Sally has a name tag made to look like the iconic Disney Cast Member name tags that has her name and where she’s from (Halloween Town, of course).
She also got her very own Hollywood Tower Hotel bellhop hat! Do you think she can show us the way to our room?
We love seeing the things that Cast Members come up with at Disney World, and we’ve even seen them do something similar at Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay at EPCOT with Porg plushes!
If you’re interested in becoming a Disney World Cast Member (and are an eligible college student), then applications are now open for the Disney College Program — a program where you can work for Disney World and potentially earn some college credit while you’re at it. And, if you’re interested in even more unique Cast Member interactions, check out the Disney World restaurants with the best Cast Members! It also just got easier to give Cast Members compliments at Disneyland with the new Cast Compliment feature in the Disneyland app. As always, make sure to stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney World news and information.
