kicks off TOMORROW which means Disney World’s Halloween season is about to officially begin!
And finally, Disney has released information on the new and returning treats we can expect to see in Magic Kingdom this Halloween season.
Hello from the Magic Kingdom! We had a sweet time in the park this week as we found new eats, a ton of new Aladdin-inspired merchandise, and caught up on the construction in park (including an area getting a new paint job)!
We started our visit by saying “Hello!” to Friar Tuck and Prince John from Robin Hood.
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is still very much in full swing!
But while the seasonal celebration continues, plenty of day-to-day updates continue for the Citizens of Main Street, U.S.A. and all the lands beyond. [Read more…]
On November 18, 1928, Mickey Mouse appeared in Steamboat Willie.
And the world has never been the same since!
And today through Mickey’s official 90th Anniversary on November 18, 2018, we’re celebrating the Birthday Mouse all over Walt Disney World! [Read more…]
Between decorating the park, kicking off Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and introducing a bunch of treats and sweets the Magic Kingdom found a way to do even more updates! We collected all the menu updates, merchandise introductions, refurbishment projects progress, and even more holiday eats right here for you!
That’s a view that we could look at all day! Cinderella Castle, Fireworks, and Characters! Even Mickey is there — before his big day this weekend when he turns 90!
Of course, TREATS are a big deal at the Party every year! Select Counter Service locations around the park are selling specialty snacks available for extra purchase. But even if you’re not attending the Party, some of these select snacks are available ALL DAY to all Magic Kingdom guests!
But first things first: If you’d like to see these treats with reviews and prices, check out the time we spent at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party where we’ve tried them all!
OF COURSE you knew it was National Nacho Day today, right?!? Great. Now that we’ve got that established, it’s time to DIG IN! Over at the Magic Kingdom, we’re seeing two brand new options on counter service menus.
The restaurants in the Magic Kingdom have made turning the calendar to a new month even more momentous with their “of-the-month” offerings.
October is no different — and boy are we being rewarded with some “of-the-month” treats! Plus, now you can get some desserts that were previously exclusive to the Halloween Party all day, everyday.
Heads up, all! Big news on the Disney price increase front: there is a price hike to fountain beverages AND iconic snacks around Disney World counter service locations and snack carts.
During our recent visit to Magic Kingdom (October 1st), the standard price for a regular Fountain Beverage was $3.29. However, today (October 2nd), DFB reader Shelley C. reported that she was seeing the price listed for regular sized Fountain Beverages as $3.99.
In taking a peek around Mobile Order menus on the My Disney Experience app, this does indeed appear to be the case in several locations. A quick search around reveals the $3.99 price tag for Fountain Beverages at Casey’s Corner, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, and Columbia Harbour House. [Read more…]
