If you’ve ever been walking through the World Showcase and have been hit with the most delicious smell, you might be walking through the Germany Pavilion by Karamell-Küche. This caramel shop features Werther’s Original Caramel and is home to some of our favorite EPCOT snacks.
Get ready to dive in!
Karamell-Küche just dropped three new treats, and even with hundreds of snacks sitting at EPCOT for the Food & Wine Festival, we might still be sneaking into the Germany Pavilion for these treats.
You probably read the title of this post and thought, “A $5 meal? At Disney? No way.”
EPCOT
YES WAY! Not only is this cheap meal in EPCOT convenient and easy to eat while walking around the park, it’s also delicious. We truly can’t stop thinking about it, and many folks walk right past it without even knowing they’re missing out on one of the greatest EPCOT snacks. Let’s talk about it!
We’ve got a brand-new float to try in Disney World!
Fife and Drum
EPCOT may be busy gearing up for its 2021 Flower and Garden Festival — which starts TOMORROW, by the way! — but there’s still other treats to try around the park. And at Fife & Drum Tavern, we spotted the new Half Note Float!

Japan Pavilion
The World Showcase is home to fun snacks, gorgeous views, and exciting upcoming attractions! But if you take the time to walk around the stores in each country, you’ll find some truly unique items for sale. That’s exactly what we did in the Japan Pavilion today…and it led to a fascinating discovery!
Les Halles in the France Pavilion is a fan favorite at Epcot. From savory soups and sandwiches to sweet desserts (and even a FULL baguette you can purchase for under $5.00!), Les Halles has something for just about everyone.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the Flower and Garden Festival, we stopped by this tried and true quintessential World Showcase dining location to see if there were any new updates since the last time we visited. First off, we noticed a new Brie-filled Bread Bowl! Then we panicked a bit when we noticed that our beloved FRANGIPANE no longer listed on the menu! After asking, it’s still being offered but it has changed yet again!
We have a fun treat for you at the China Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase!
Let’s face it: Disney World is hot. With the exception of a few weeks out of the year, you’re going to be craving a refreshing drink as a mid-day treat. And Epcot’s Joy of Tea has just the thing for you!
We’re big fans of this snack stop. For such a tiny booth, it has a pretty extensive menu! The egg rolls and curry chicken pockets are tasty little snacks that will hold you over until your next meal while you explore the World Showcase.
And, most importantly, they have a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (including the fan favorite Tipsy Ducks in Love!).

People have been telling me for months: “Ya gotta try the Caramel Apple Cookie from Karamell-Küche!” Seriously, I’ve been bombarded with suggestions to sample this one and get it on the blog!
But could it really be that fantastic? An oatmeal apple cookie with some caramel drizzled on top?

Yes. Yes it is.
I can tell you that it was absolutely worth the effort and extra trip that I took to Epcot’s Germany Pavilion just to sample it.
The very moist, soft, and HUGE treat had that great, rich buttery flavor — the mark of a truly fantastic oatmeal cookie. While the apple chunks inside were obviously dried, they were plump and flavorful all the same.

OK, so while this isn’t technically a “Disney-made” snack (I’ve even found it in my local grocery store recently), many of us have our first experience with Pocky in Mitsukoshi Department Store in Epcot’s Japan pavilion. I know I did! Just in case you haven’t experienced Pocky yet, let me introduce you!
These slender, crisp cookies coated in chocolate (and occasionally other flavors) are one of my favorite snacks available in Epcot’s World Showcase. You’ll find the tasty sweets way in the back of the fabled department store — near the indoor sake bar.
There Are Many Flavors of Pocky Available
There’s a Pocky for every flavor preference, from the purist approach of milk chocolate to fruit-flavored options. You can also find chocolate and nut combinations.
And, of course, there’s “Men’s Pocky.” No, I’m not kidding. Men’s Pocky is a dark chocolate version of the snack. 🙂

The cookies come in a range of quantities as well, from little pocky boxes to GIANT POCKY BOXES. Just in case you need to share (yeah, right).
On this visit, I went for the classic: “chocolate cream covered biscuit sticks.”
